Terrific trigger, very accurate, loud! Might get some looks at the range. 1 FTF on first clip...no malfunctions since.

Almost a great gun. Actually the gun is awesome. Shoots great, concealable, smooth. Almost impossible to get 13 rounds into magazine. Way to tight. 10 rounder is great. Very nice trigger. A little disappointed in a cardboard box and only a small zippered pouch for gun. The gun-A. The stuff-C+ Seems like these gun companies should do more to ensure holsters for their guns with lights,lasers and optics are available. Put armalaser on my shield, awesome.

The only reason 4 and not 5 stars is I don't like the sights. I found I shot a little high due to the front sight being just a mm off the slide and the rear dots a couple mm higher, forcing me to raise the muzzle for alignment and sight picture. My shot placement was consistently high by a couple inches. This is probably due to the sights I am used to on my other pistols (all the same, XS Sights) So I ordered a set for this one too. IF.......I kept a low 6 O'clock hold, it would be OK, but that's not how I hold with my other pistols. Close in point shooting in a defensive scenario would be fine with these sights, but I want to keep my already developed muscle and eye memory of my other pistols/sights, and keep consistency. Otherwise, the pistol shoots perfectly straight. It functioned out of the box (after cleaning) flawlessly in my first 350 rounds. The issues some reviewers were saying about the slide stop / release impossible to thumb swipe down I did not encounter while actually shooting. Yes while dry manipulation, no when dropping an empty mag for a full one. Swipe released easily, worked as expected. And !!! KEEP IN MIND !!!! You CAN get 15 round shield Plus / Equalizer mags for this pistol. The porting does create more to clean, but it's a nice shooter.

I love this Gun. I went this over The Hellcat amd the sig p365 and i do not reg it at all. Happy with my chose. Ot shots smoOth. The trigger has a clean brake. The FLASHLIGHT and the nife is a plus. This is in my Summer carry line up. Good for them hot days when you don’t want a light gun on your hip.

I really like the gun. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the EDC kit really isn’t impressive. The sleeve is cheap and flimsy and the pocket knife and flashlight are ok but not great. Only reason I got the EDC kit is because it was the only way I could get the gun in stock. The muzzle brakes really do help keep the muzzle flip down and the sights and trigger are excellent

The M&P Shield was a good fit for me from the first round fired through my single stack and the Plus double stack has just added to that. I love it !!!

Typical M&P quality and performance! Has a much improved “in hand” feel compared to the 1st Gen Shield and the increased capacity has finally arrived!
