Trigger tech trigger says adjustable. Lowest was able to reduce was to just over 3lbs. Called and spoke to trigger tech. They said it’s because Christiansen Arms replaces a spring so they cannot guarantee the poundage. Also be careful to add a spacer if attaching any 1/2 x28 muzzle devices (especially a can). If you plan on putting a suppressor on, the suppressor will not thread back to the shoulder. A large gap is there and will cause a baffle strike! Ask me how I know!

This gun is AMAZING! It is very light, the trigger is really good and it shoots ! I'm 71 and don't shoot very often but even with my old eyes I'm shooting 1/2 groups at 50 yards. I'm sure that this rifle will shoot better than I can.

Bought this to interest grandkids in longer range shooting to help develop discipline. Not only does this function well with great accuracy, it is VERY light, making it more appealing to my wife and grandkids. My 80 yr old dad also has difficulty with heavier firearms, so this is a solid win all around!!

I was really excited to get this firearm but the rifle had really bad feeding and extracting issues. After talking with Christensen its took them 4 months to get me an RMA because they wouldn't respond. After talking to a manager they said they would get it fixed and expedited. Nope, been 4 weeks, no response after multiple emails, calls go to voicemail and they still have my rifle. Stay away from Christensen Arms, their customer service is garbage and so is this $800 22lr.

Avoid this rifle at all costs. It has had issues since it first came out and as of 4/22 they still have not figured out the feeding and extractor issues. I tried Federal HV, Elvey, CCI Mini Mag, CCI Velocitor , Norma and a few others. Jams up on extracting and ejecting last round on every magazine no matter the mag. You have to cycle the rifle really hard to get it to eject correctly or the case just lays in the action. Save yourself the time, hassle and money just get a CZ or a Ruger American.

This is a revised review of my origenal thought as when I bought the rifle I had feeding and extraction issues , had to send it in back for repair after I had it for 1 week , just got it back from Christensen (2weeks later) they fixed the problem run 500 rounds of various types of ammo , no problem feeding and extraction, works great , groupings are as advertised sub moa at 50 yards , and I wasn't even using match grade ammo.

My new favorite rifle, such a pleasure to shoot. So balanced and light it feels like holding air. So accurate it groups one torn hole groupings

A very well made and accurate rifle. I like the fact that it uses the 10/22 magazines. I would give it a 10 of 10. Nothing in this price range even comes close.

Super accurate with most ammunition. The rifle has made several one hole groups at fifty yards. The gun is light but balanced , the stock design makes a very stable platform in any shooting position. The bolt locks down well , the bolt handle feels loose but seems to be a characteristic of it.

Now this is my first bolt action 22lr rifle. I have shot a few in the past and the bolts are a little wierd at first. I have put a couple of hundred rounds down range now and the action runs good. The gun is super light(feels lighter than 5lbs) and is really comfortable. It shoots great suppressed like. The only down side is that you have to get used to the double locking bolt. The bolt snags at a 45 degree angle and the you have to keep bringing down to full lock. Would definitely buy again. It's not super expensive, but not super cheap. It is a great value

Great rimfire rifle. There is a clear break in period. I put about 250 rounds through it and noticed a huge difference than brand new. I’m betting that it will get smoother the more I shoot it. I found three different types of ammo that made one ragged hole or sub moa but it also shoots “bulk” 22 ammo very well. My only criticism is the magazine does not fall free. Overall very happy with the Ranger.

Great shooting rifle!! Quarter inch groups on my initial sight in, 25 yards sitting with a bipod. I can only imagine how good it shoots in a sled.

Absolute Tack Driver. and it IS true, the bolt sticks a lot and doesn't eject smoothly but that's inconsequential. I bought it on sale for $650 three weeks ago from the Sportsmans' in Fresno. in addition to that, I got a $50 gift card for the purchase. I paired it with a 6-25 x 56 Vortex scope and at 50 yards, with Eley match, Lapua Center X and even Norma tactical, the groups are super tight, practically in the same hole shot after shot. I have 17 other .22 rifles including a CZ 457 high

Took this bad boy to the range and it shoots fairly good. Some improvement could be made to the bolt. But overall I would recommend this rifle.

The CA Ranger 22lr is absolute amazing. Its very light with the carbon fiber barrel. Trigger is smooth, ruger 10/22 mags also. Have tried numerous different ammo and so far Norma is very smooth with it. Great grouping at 50 yards also

Light and reliable is 1st for small game hunters. Rifle weight and good quality scope weight together you still get light weight. Perfect rifle for small game hunters. I recommend it.
