The Legion P226 Legion RX is equipped with a slide-mounted reflex optic, the ROMEO1. All of the benefits of the P226 Legion are enhanced through the use of SIG SAUER’s premier line of reflex mounted pistol optics. Shoot confidently and enjoy the crisp reliability of the P226’s smooth double-action/single-action trigger. With the ROMEO1, this P226 Legion RX is the perfect mix of versatility and performance.
The Legion P226 is finished in Cerakote® Elite Legion gray coating, custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion, the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY high visibility day/night sights comes with three magazines. The P226 in DA/SA includes a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, which allows for a higher grip, but a reduced profile, thus eliminating printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard enhance the grip. An X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. Front cocking serrations provide greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm, or conducting press checks. The DA/SA is available in 9 mm, .40 and .357 SIG. The DA/SA also features low profile decocking and slide catch levers to reduce the risk of snagging. An enhanced polished action with the SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) is augmented with a Grayguns, Inc. designed P-SAIT trigger. In addition, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where it matters most.

2 years agoThe P226 legion is a great gun. Pair it with Sig optics and you will be happy. Helps keep us older shooters on target. Great gun at a greaT price. Fast and profEssional service.

2 years agoI was attracted to the design and feel of the P226 and already knew of Sigs dependability and quality so I gave it a try. Went all out with a Legion model with Romeo sight (old eyes). Could not have been more pleased with performance, accuracy and ergonomics. One of my favorite range and carry guns.

2 years agoThis is an amazing gun. The feel, the action, everything is smooth as silk! I have several Sigs and love them, I thought there was nothing to make them better, then I got the Legion. Holy Crap! This by far the nicest gun I have ever put my hands on!

1 year agoAmazing firearm! Sig did a great job here - the fit and finish is great, the SRT makes this an absolute pleasure to shoot! I do wish there was an option to be able to purchase a Legion optics plate if I decided to take the RXP off, I know they either come with or are sold to LEO versions but not the normal civilians. Also would prefer the smaller MOA on the RXP but that's starting to nit-pick, this is an easy recommendation and one of my favorites!

1 year agoReal nice pistol I can actually see what I’m shooting at with the red dot. It has nice grips, and a easy single action pull. Perfect for shooting steel completion. The finish is also superb.

1 year agoThis is my first Sig Sauer pistol as I compete with a CZ Shadow 2 with several Cajun Gunworks modifications. My P226 Legion shoots and cycles like a champ; however, the only out-of-the-box issue I had was that when I co-witnessed the red dot sight with the from tritium sight, the gun shot low (about 3 inches from 7yds). Since I made the adjustment on the Sig Romeo1 Pro, I no longer co-witness my shots with the front sight and the gun is automatic to 40yds. The DA/SA is very nice and the … Read More

1 year agoAwesome shooter! Love the feel in the hand, love the DA/SA trigger. It’s a Legion! What more needs to be said?

1 year agoAwesome gun for the money. Shots smooth and it’s super accurate. The only comment I have is related to the coating. It will likely wear very quickly. Actually, I started seeing some wear due to clip tearing against the inside wall of the handle.

1 year agoThis pistol as all other P226 are very dependable. This used P226 wasn’t used very much. Can’t beat the price for a Legend.

1 year agoThis after all is a police retired firearm. It does not at the moment appear to have been heavily used. Could have been a holster queen for some lucky LEO that did not have to use it except at the range. Something to be said about all metal guns…just feel so solid. When Sig tested these many years ago they would fire upwards of 10,000 rounds witho...Read More Read more about review stating Great guns!!

1 year agoThis firearm is one of the best weapons That I have fired in a long time It reminds me of the Beretta cougar DA/SA as far as the ergonomics and fit In the hand. The price was a bit much But I can honestly say with this weapon You definitely get what you pay for, I Love It.

1 year agoI own just about everything that shoots, but this gun Feels like a gun! Perfect balance, quick response trigger and very rugged. Unlike my Glocks and S&W’s, this P226 doesn’t feel like I’m going to break it. It will be my last handgun, because I don’t believe I need to look anywhere else…

1 year agoI am enjoying and having fun so far since I am a first time gun owner. Performance wise it was superb! It was perfect on my hand grip, no recoil at all, and pretty efficient on the target! No regret at all from the first time I choice this P226, it’s all worth it for the price, definitely recommend this unit.

1 year agoI had a hard time locating a Sig 226 legion to purchase. Guns.com had the weapon I was looking for and shipped out to me in only a couple of days! The firearm was new and in perfect condition.

1 year agoThis pistol feels great in my hands, and the trigger is so buttery smooth it makes shooting it a lot of fun! I’m already a big fan of Sig weapons which makes this a great addition to my collection. It helps that it looks really good too! I’ve only put a couple hundred rounds through it at this point, but no problems whatsoever with reliability. It...Read More Read more about review stating Another great Sig product!

1 year agoI purchased this one because I used at a service weapon for my police department for 16 years (familiarity) I don’t like the hard first trigger pull which is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I’ve never had a jam or misfire in all my years of service so I thought why not?

1 year agoThe Sig is great, everything it is supposed to be. Very premium pricing, and very premium gun. But mine came with the Sig factory zip tie missing from the case. Opening the case, revealed that TWO of the three 15-round factory magazines were removed at Palmetto before shipping. I contacted Palmetto, and they responded with "all firearms sales are final; take it up with Sig." Obviously, Sig will not be responsible for people at Palmetto stealing magazines from gun cases. So buyer beware.
