I had a poor prior experience with a Mossberg 590 A1 several years ago that was ultimately sent back to Mossberg and I was subsequently provided a full refund. I decided to give Mossberg another chance as I needed a back-up for my primary shotgun. For less than a $100 additional cost I chose the Mossberg 500 Special Purpose over the Maverick 88. My main reasons were the firearm assembly location and the fact that the 500 has a 10-year warranty as opposed to

1 year agoI do like it for sure, haven’t had time to shoot it yet but I’m sure it’ll be just fine. Looks to be well built and I’m anxious to send some slugs down range!
