I'd been looking for this gun for some time & got it at a good price from gag. 660$ is already a steep price for a pump action but this one had extraction issues, which i had to fix, then the front sight got blown away while i was shooting it. thats absurd, critical failures on a brand new gun. i would have probably died twice already if i actually had to use it.

I got this because it can shoot the shorty shells without needing an adapter. Not much kick for a 12 gauge. I’m not a big person. The factory stock is a little long for me, but probably would be fine for a normal sized person. Had some slight spent shell ejection issues, but nothing I don’t think some gun lube wouldn’t fix. Orderd the 590s with the 20" barrel. It handles all 3 sizes mixed in the tube reliably. 210 rounds without issue so far. The interchangeable choke was a nice touch on Mossberg's part, some of us actually pattern our scatterguns. I had it Cerakoted with Magpul OD Green and added a Strealmight Racker forend and a Hogue 12" lop stock. Vang Comp safety added along with GG&G side saddle.
