Savage Arms Axis Compact 243 Win 4 Round Bolt Action Rifle, Sporter – 57245

I purchased a Save rifle on Black Friday, I had trigger issues immediately. Also Cabelas placed a trigger lock on the gun,, but did not provide the key to unlock it,, i had to cut the lock off. The trigger adjustment key was removed by Cabelas when they opened the box to place the trigger lock on it. Now its end of May and Savage won't respond to phone calls and emails after agreeing to replace the Trigger Assembly. My Ffl has contacted Savage 4 times myself, 3 times. Each occurrence Savage states they will send the assembly and then all records of the contact mysteriously vanish each time. NEVER BUY A SAVAGE RIFLE!!! Quality sucks, and Customer Support will lie too you. The gun is New, but cannot be used, and Savage will not help.

Its accurate, ill give it that. Great Single shot. Wont eject spent cases of any brand. Then savage had the audacity to tell me i had to pay to send this piece of garbage to them to get fixed. Go with Ruger, much better quality.

Won this and gave to my son to use on his first hunting trip. Easy to use. Great distance on target. Scope was right on. He enjoyed his first trip. Great hunting rifle.

Rifle came with additional (original) stock and a guns.com hard case. Beautiful rifle, can't wait to sight it in.
