2 years agoI have all three Precision Rimfires; 22lr, 22wmr and 17hmr. Mounted Nikon Long Range BDC on each. 22lr is fun and holds good groups at 100yds. The 22wmr is deadly with 3 inch groups at 150yds. But the 17hmr outshoots them both. At 200 yds, the 17 also holds 3 inch groups. All of the above stats are on sandbags with CCI ammo. In the Marine Corps we qualified at 500yds with iron sights. I'd like to see what these hmr and wmr weapons could do under those conditions, but retired now. Oh well. But overall? These weapons are WELL worth owning. Semper fi to my brothers and sisters.

2 years agoVery Nice Great Shooter! A lot of fun! I Liked the adjustability and triger. I have not shot it a lot, nor am I very experianced with it. Over time I am sure to love it.

1 year agoHighly disappointed. I tried to purchase three times and all three rifles had damage to the receiver. Appears to be a design issue where bolt sits on edge of receiver damaging the finish and leaving a burr. I ended up cancelling all three purchases.

1 year agoSo far I don't have any complaints about the 22mag. It cycles ammo beautifully and it is very accurate. I'm able to shoot the same bullet hole at about 80 yards using Hornady 30 grain cartridge. I think it's a well built rifle and it is fun to shoot. I've put about 40 rounds through it so far and no issues whatsoever. I've got a vortex crossfire II 4x12x44 on it so I can really make those long shots. I'd recommend getting the 22mag instead of the 17hmr. Both are great rounds but I like the

1 year agoA tack driver. My first experience with a true target rifle. The fact that so many of it's components are so easily adjustable makes it comfortable to shoot. I added a Nikon scope and a bipod to it and was getting excellent groups with the 22 mag even out past 100 yards. Sportsman's Warehouse was able to offer it at a better price than their competitors.

1 year agoseems like a fine rifle, exactly what i expected although haven't had a chance to shoot it much yet.

1 year agoIt is all I could hope for. It is so much better than I am. With a good scope and mounted bipod, it is just about as good as it gets!

1 year agoGot the rifle home, put the scope on and took it to the range. Beyond my expectations, 5 rounds to zero. Then I shot five 10 round groups at 25 yards. The largest measured 0.273 inch & the smallest measured 0.239 inch. Can't wait to get to the outdoor range. The rifle is solid, smooth & accurate! The only other thing I can say about my Ruger Precision Rimfire .22 wmr, I love it!

1 year agoThe RPR rimfire is the most accurate, most versatile, and best trigger out of the box I’ve ever seen.

1 year agoOut of the box and zeroed in at 50yds with 6 rounds. Final 3 shot group 1/4" dead center. Yes, all 3 were touching. Using 17 grain Hornady V-Max. Couldn't ask for anything more. Great firearm.

1 year agoI used a Vortech crossfire 1-4 -24 and sighted in at 25 yds. then went to metal targets out to 75 yds. the targets were painted white so that you could see where the bullet struck. where the crosshairs where aimedthatswhere the bullet made a dark mark.this rifle is Great !!!!! I recomend this rifle to anyone.
