This is the best. 357 Smith & Wesson. I am so glad I brought it. Very nice smooth trigger. Love the seven shots revolver. Cannot beat the pack Meyer grips. The night sight is excellent. I have shot at 31 yards. and it was right on target. Now if I can get a nice big buck to come by.

I own a number of new and vintage S&W revolvers. This PC product is the best double action trigger of them all.

Fantastic gun, I might buy a second one. I shot about 100 rounds and it is very accurate single hand or double hand grip and is very smooth on trigger pull on both single and double action. I love the bright orange front sight due to my aging eyesight, but the lower half facing the shooter should be painted black to place more focus on the target. The front sight is very easy to change out for aftermarket sights. I originally could not decide between the 4" and 5" barrel option, but I am

Favorite revolver by far! Right out of the box accurate and absorbs the 357 mag recoil really well! If it wasn't so heavy, it would be my EDC!

Brand new out of the box was a big excitement! Feel good and can’t wait to shoot. Trigger and hammer was a bit tarnished!

I have purchased several firearms from Guns.com and have been satisfied up to this point however I received the 686 plus and I believe this firearm had been shot before. The frame has swirl marks on it and does not appear to really be a new firearm. I am disappointed after spending quite a lot of money on this purchase. It is difficult to inspect ...Read More Read more about review stating Not as happy as I was on previous purchases

I purchased S&W 686+ on guns.com after waiting almost a year on a waiting list at my local gun shop. The purchasing process was easy (slight delay due to my local shop) and I received the gun after CA mandatory 10 day wait period. The reason for 4 star vs 5 star review is that the gun was not as 'shiny' as I expected for a new gun. With that s...Read More Read more about review stating Fantastic revolver

As expected from the S&W Performance Center, the action on this revolver is incredibly smooth and the double action trigger pull is excellent. Obviously not a great concealed carry weapon but a great field and hunting pistol. Great right out of the box and should only get better when it’s had a few hundred rounds through it!

Gun was shipped fast and in PERFECT condition, I am positive it will be very effective at the range next week. The revolver is top notch.

686 plus is light weight and a great carry. limited recoil for a class of this size. Balance is the best. H.

I love my new revolver. Looks and works good after a deep deep cleaning. No more sticky cylinder and sluggish action. Shipping was fast and easy.+++++++++

Ordered on a Saturday, picked up from FFL on Wednesday. Very fast shipping. This revolver is a fine and exquisite piece of a killing machine. The trigger is the smoothest trigger I have ever felt. Cylinder lock up is the tightest I have ever seen. With the hammer locked the cylinder does not move at all.

I own a 686-6. I had it packed away in a rubber tote for about a month during a move. It turned black! I was able to get part of it off. I took it to a gunsmith with over 40 years of experience he told me nothing he could do. That S&W used a inferior coating over the metal. He contacted S&W with no response as of today. This has been going...Read More Read more about review stating Junk stainless steel

This is my 7th S&W revolver I purchased. It may be my new favorite. The trigger is very smooth and crisp. My only gripe is with the cylinder release. It is oversized for ease of use for competition. However I don't compete and do actually carry this piece. When fitting this into my holster the oversized cylinder release is being pressed agains...Read More Read more about review stating Almost perfect

Received firearm on Wednesday & finally got it to the Range on Sunday. Shot 50 rounds of .38 Special & 20 rounds of .357. Gun performed flawlessly as would be expected. Double action was tough sledding & will need some work. Single action was Awesome. Very happy with that right out of the box. Shot at 11 & 25 yards. Bench shooting ...Read More Read more about review stating S&W 686 Plus 6”…

Have been thinking about carrying a revolver for a while, have been a 45 guy for a long time. I had a 686 I carried for a while in the 80's as a duty weapon and like it. I like the dependability of a revolver and the power of a 357. Accurate and shoots well. It could stand a little polishing of the mechanism for a bit smoother action.

Guns.com has an extensive inventory and their online store was secure, and the website was well designed. The order was placed and received in one week!! I highly recommend this business and will use them in the future. Royce Thomas Jr

Excellent performance at the range. Wielding feels balanced. Probably too heavy for a ccw for most people but definitely possible with a sturdy belt and holster. There’s always the debate between 3” and 4” barrel lengths but to each his/her own purposes and research. If accuracy is an issue it’s most likely the shooter lol! Handles .38+p very ...Read More Read more about review stating Excellent performance at the range.

Great gun, learning the guns potential now. Only negative note, the hammer was so sharp with the aggressive checkering I had to debur the sharp edges. Balance, trigger, weight and finish exceded my expectations.

Purchased this gun as a birthday gift for my husband and he loves it. Since this length barrel only comes with synthetic grips we purchased a set of wood grips with the S&W logo and the gun is even more beautiful. This is the 2nd gun purchase from Guns.com in the past month and we will continue to do business with them. They have great pr...Read More Read more about review stating Lib52
