2 years agoYou cannot go wrong with Smith & Wesson for one. Very well made, just like my model 60 but with less umph.. Enjoy this firearm to practice with and 22 ammo is a way better option then shooting the 357's or 38's Pick one up.. You'll be glad you did. GrabAGun had the best price and fast shipping!

2 years agoSmith & Wesson Mod. 63. One very nice solidly built 22 Revolver. No doubt has a major Edge above most other 22 revolvers and especially most of the Semi Autos as well. Main reason I preferred a solid good quality revolver over a semi auto, Is mainly because it can fire everything from CB Caps, Shirts, Longs, and even Long Rifles. It’s action is smith as silk. Second to none. Extremely very happy with it and Grabagun was great to deal with. Thanks Grabagun! ????

2 years agoLooks and feels great. Overall well built. Out of box sights were alittle off but probably the ammo I was using (aguila). Once adjusted shoots very well. One issue I had.....using remington thunderbolts, i found that brass once fired, binded up the cylinder every so often. Once cylinder open and empty brass discarded, fired without issue. Must be something with the remington ammo, hasn’t happen with other ammo I tried.

2 years agoI was looking for a good DA revolver in 22 LR, as I already had a SA revolver in that caliber. The 3" barrel on the stainless model 63 kit gun is perfect for the j-frame. it's accurate, not too light (but not heavy), and a blast to shoot. I've put hundreds of rounds through it in the last few weeks, and i can't wait to put hundreds more. Since it's a revolver, it'll eat anything--22 short (which are a lot of quiet fun), 22 long, and even the cheapest bulk ammo in 22 lr. The sights are excellent. … Read More

1 year agoi, honestly, have this revolver at my side on the couch, all the time. i can't stop picking it up to fondle it's frame. admire the CRAFTSMANSHIP, reflect on the beauty of the stainless, the balanced weight -- perfect proportions and unsurpassed quality that is the definition of a smith & wesson revolver! i've learned how to cock it and pull the trigger over and over, again, until the entire action feels like a fine swiss watch clicking the shiny cylinder around and around in … Read More

1 year agoHave had one For years. Carry it around my farm for varmints. Light, handy, and accurate. Would not Recommend it for going to town though, the varmints are bigger and meaner, get SOMETHING bigger.

1 year agolove it,i wanted a .22 revolver, reseached it and decided model 63 was what I wanted but nobody had it in stock.kept trying and held out for about 6 months and finally it was avalible and I am glad I waited.feels, looks and accuracy are excellent and I really like the fiber optic sights and 3"barrel is not to big and not to small...just right, to my opinion

1 year agoAnother great firearm from S&W. Accurate, safe, no failures. What's not to love about this gun? 8 rounds in the cylinder. Illuminated front sight. I would recommend at least giving this a look see and a "test drive".

1 year agoThree of the eight charge holes in the cylinder were very difficult to load the ammo in. One had to just about forcefully push the rounds into these three holes. Once locked and loaded, the first three rounds discharged as expected. It was at this point that the firearm no longer functioned. The cylinder locked up and prevented operation in either the single or double action mode. Have since contacted S&W re this issue and returned the firearm to their repair shop.

1 year agoGun looks good and shot good but the ejector was very difficult. I had to ship the gun back to Smith and Wesson. It is going to take 6 weeks to get the gun back. At this point I cannot recommend the gun.

1 year agoI bought a Model 63 about 3 years ago from Sportsman’s Warehouse. I take it out almost every time I go shooting. Heck, I take it out almost every time I go mushroom hunting or hiking. 8 cartridges of 22lr is a great compromise for capacity and size. I bought a couple Speed Beez speedloaders. Perfect for walking around plinking. Most accurate ammunition is Eley Target with mine but everything has been acceptable. 22 shorts work well and CB Caps work well without ear

1 year agoGreat S&W quality. Shoots accurate and easy to shoot all day. Now if we can just start finding ammo again in this country . . . but that's another story :(

1 year agoGreat little pistol. Easy to carry. Very accurate. Exceptional quality. I’ve shot about 500 rounds with no problems. The only thing I don’t like is the feel of the trigger but I’ve gotten accustomed after using the gun. I find the double action trigger easy enough to pull. Very nice revolver.
