1 year agoReceived a new suppressor and was very excited to give it a try. Picked up a couple boxes for the SS 300 BLK and it worked well. Pretty clean, very reliable and worked as I would have expected.

1 year agoI shot a young buck from about 20 yards, using an AR-15 with a 16 inch barrel. The deer ran about 50 yards and collapsed. The blood trail began almost immediately and where he fell, there was a LOT of blood. The bullet entered the lower chest area (between the 5th and 6th rib. I wonder how this bullet would have performed if it had struck a rib, but maybe next year I will find out). The entrance wound was about 35 caliber, indicating the bullet began expanding upon encountering the muscle right under the skin. The bullet removed the lower portion of the heart, caused extensive damage to the right lung, damaged the left lung (less extensive) and ruptured the stomach (apparently from the shock wave, since the bullet did not actually strike the stomach. It could be the shock wave also damaged the right lung, based on the limited damage to the left lung, but I'm sure you have experts who can determine that. The bullet then exited, leaving a exit wound of approximately 45 caliber. It appears the bullet began expanding as it entered the chest cavity and continued to expand as it traveled thru the chest cavity. This bullet exhibited great performance, especially considering it was fired from a 16 inch barrel! I have this deer's "autopsy" photographs, if you wish to see them.

1 year agoClean burning works in my AR-15 no cycling issues. Tried a box and have bought 200 more rounds. Plan to get even more.

1 year agoUsing a bolt action with a .30 cal YHM can... UNBELIEVABLY QUIET, and consistent accuracy to 200 meters, with TIGHT groups... Almost "Hollywood" quiet. I'm stocking up on this ammo.

1 year agoAfter shooting this, I dont know how you would want to shoot anything else. Almost no recoil with this bullet. I can sit at the range and shoot all day and not need a new shoulder afterwards. Make MORE!!!

1 year agoHorrible quality. Bullets are deformed, cartridge OAL inconsistent and varies wildly, powder burn is poor and leaves a filthy gun after just a few rounds. AVOID THIS PRODUCT

1 year agoThe lack of quality control is quite evident. Every bullet was seated at different heights, the tips of every bullet were also smashed, and the brass was heavily tarnished. I will not purchase winchester ammunition again.

1 year agoGreat round to shoot suppressed. Hollywood quiet out of dead air can on a bolt action. Grouping consistent. Very pleased.

1 year agoGreat round. A little on the loud scale with my particular setup. Using a 9mm can. It does run a bit cleaner. Not sure how much.

1 year agoPaying this much I shouldn't have to worry about bad ammo. All 20 out of a suppressed Diamondback had 2 that definitely had the sound crack of a non subsonic and 1 didn't even fire.

1 year agoExcellent value for subsonic round. Every round ran fine and held a tight group. At least as tight as I am capable of.

1 year agoAttempted to run my first 30 rounds through but had a jam. It appeared projectile had been compromised into the casing. It was shorter than the rest. While loading the next magazine found another one. I checked the other 3 boxes I purchased and found 7 more (six in one box). I will not purchase Winchester ammo again

1 year agoNot sure why this has bad reviews. I've shot around 300+ rounds with my suppressed springfeild Saint Victor (9inch barrel), with no issues. The ammo cycles perfect, is very quiet, clean, and has the least amount of recoil compared to anything else I've tried. For plinking, varmint hunting, or knocking headshots on hogs, this is great ammo. I'm sure the bad reviews are from ignorance.
