This shotgun is tough and versatile. Out of the box the MC312 runs 12 gauge 3-1/2 inches. We even tested target loads, 12 gauge hot 3-1/2 inches, mixed in the same mag tube and the shotgun still functioned. This is a very difficult task for most shotguns as it requires the bolt to cycle back far enough to load the 12 gauge 3-1/2 inches, but using only the energy from a target load 12 gauge 2-3/4 inches. We really abused this gun in testing. We ran 700 rounds continuous leaving no time to cool, we mixed and matched ammo in a single mag tube, and we put it through some of the most grueling tests we could come up with. We ran the first 5000 rounds with zero cleaning, then ran a 10,000 round endurance test without replacing any parts. For the last test, we disassembled 5 shotguns, placed the parts in a box, mixed the parts up and reassembled the guns with a random selection. The MC312 fired with no adjustment needed.

1 year agoFirst off grabagun was great. Couldn't afford much at the time and was able to do shoot now pay later. Read reviews and all were great so I purchased. Horrible gun. It is a field gun and that's it. It is not meant to shoot more than a few birds with. If and I can't stress enough if, this gun fits you your lucky. The stock is absolutely horrible. The top of the stock is so pointy. After two boxes shooting skeet, my cheek was so badly bruised my skin scabbed and peeled. Inertia is okay, will not cycle much less than 1oz loads. Very, very ,very disappointing after all the reviews I read.

1 year agoHaving watched, and read, several reviews about the MC312 the first thing i wanted to verify for myself was the claim that it would cycle through random shells without a glitch. I can honestly now state that the gun will chamber a 3 1/2 in shell after firing a 2 3/4 in shell with out mishap. We loaded the magazine with random assortments of 2 3/4, 3, and 3 1/2 shells in any order without failing. I have had this issue with other semi-auto shotguns when hunting geese and having a hotter shell in

1 year agoI truly believe is will eat anything that is fed to it ! I broke it in with 1 7/8 oz loads on first five shots and then went with 2 3/4” 1oz loads next 15 shots with no failures. I then mix shells , sizes and loads and again NO problems. Recoil is a bit heavy but manageable. A great gun and great price point !

1 year agoRead reviews all over different forums and finally bought one. Made it through about 7 goose days so about 300 rounds. ZERO malfunctions whatsoever. And I used a variety of sizes. From 2 3/4"-3.5". 7(rabbit) -TT shot. Not too heavy. Feels great against my shoulder. Wrapped the gun in camouflage myself and saved even more money! Will upgrade the sight eventually but it was never an issue. Would highly recommend!

1 year agoI really like this shotgun. Can shoot 2 3/4” target loads all day breaking clays. Put a Limbsaver on it to help manage the recoil of 3” and 3 1/2” shells. The weight and length are comfortable for me. Solid and reliable so far. Have put 300 rounds through it without a hiccup. I feel I got a lot of gun for what I paid.

1 year agoI've only had a chance to put 65 rounds of birdshot through it but it performed flawlessly. This is my first shotgun and I'm mad at myself for not buying a gun like this sooner. I love it. Plus, it was very affordable too.

1 year agoI have 4 of these shotguns one is a home defense. The fit finish on these guns are superb. They never jam and are built. My only beef with them is the recoil pad. Buy a Limbsaver (Stoeger 3500) size. They even come with 5 chokes.
