1 year agoThis is an awesome shotgun! I am very happy with the performance, its super smooth and accurate. Feels very comfortable, and the kick-off system really does work. I shot 100 shells on my first outing and had zero fatigue, I could have easily shot 100 more. I think this shotgun is the best semi-auto for the money in any brand.

1 year agoworked perfect right out of the box for sporting clays. Came with a nice choke set and tool. easy to take down. shooting back to back with Benelli super 90, Browning a5 and jm MOSSBERG it has the least amount of recoil. i also like the two bead sight. super easy to load and not a single jam. has about 400 rounds through it now

1 year agoThis is the second Beretta A400 I’ve purchase from Sportsman’s in the past two years. The first was an A400 12ga xplor which I purchased for upland hunting and sporting clays. I’ve put over 3000 shells thru the xplor without a single problem. I purchased the xcel primarily for sporting clays and after 300 shells I’m enjoying it as well. Both are fantastic shotguns and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a semi auto, soft shooting shotgun. This was not an easy gun to find but after putting on my Sportsman’s wishlist they found it within 2 weeks.
