The Ruger Hawkeye series features a non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor that is the most positive case extraction system ever invented. The fixed blade-type ejector positively ejects the empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward. The three-position safety is easily accessible and allows the shooter to lock the bolt or load and unload the rifle with the safety engaged.

2 years agoWould highly recommend this rifle. Shoots sub Moa with three different types of store bought ammo. Very little re coil because of how heavy it is. Fantastic price for what you get

2 years agoAmazing rifle. Heavy barrel, super heavy for easy recoil management. Trigger is very nice and crisp. I did not like the plastic magazine includes. I would be happy payong a little extra for a metal magazine. Grab a gun advertises the rifle as 1:10 barrel twist buy it is 1:9. Great texture and finish. I am very happy with this rifle. It came with some options (quick release sling attachment, extra pads to customize LOP) that I did not expect.

2 years agoWhat can I say about the Ruger Hawkeye that hasn’t already been said on the online reviews. It’s a fantastic rifle, built like a tank and looks good! Trigger is great, but I’m still thinking about upgrading.

2 years agoAfter a 2 round sight in at 25m, my first 3 shot group at 100m was .5". The break and weight really tame 200gr bullets, it is fun to shoot this 300wm.

2 years agoLove it.. I have ran a few boxes of ammo through.. Heavy weight and muzzle brake makes almost zero recoil.. definitely not for hunting..but awesome for target

2 years agoOutstanding product, three rounds to get scope on target and the next three shots the holes were touching in the bull. everything i wanted it to be. Grab-A-Gun was easy to work with, great customer service, easy to add my FFL. Several days to "Process" order, but shipped fast. I would recommend Grab-A-Gun and the Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target.

2 years agoGrabagun is 100% in my book - GREAT customer service, Christina is the best!!!! The Ruger i ordered was shipped in a timely manner, gun was broke (stock) grabagun replaced it 2nd one was cracked also, sent it back to Ruger directly and let them fix it. Grabagun was more than willing to replace it but not their fault so sent it back to Ruger. Grabagun hands down will continue to receive my business!! I know its not a gun review but they are a great company!

2 years agoPurchased this rifle June 2019. Nothing but issues with it. Stock cracked first outing, approx. 40 rounds FIreD. Sent Back to ruger and they replaced it. Trouble cycling ammo, using hornady sUper performance 180 gran bullets. Ran another 60-80 rounds And have another cracked stock.

1 year agoeasy gun to shoot for such a powerful round. however, i am frequently getting light primer strikes and 300 win mag is expensive ammo to waste. i sent it in to be repaired and hopefully that will fix the problem.

1 year agooverall its a good gun but, the chassis is made from cheap wood, the MUZZLE break is horrible, and the trigger is nice but could be better. cheek rest would be a lot better If it was 2 points of contact on each side or built in to the chassis like the magpul prs gen 3.
