Ruger’s American Rimfire rifle features a patent-pending Power Bedding integral bedding block system which positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. The cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling which provides exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. The American Rimfire rifle also has a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, tang safety, easy-to-use 10/22-style extended magazine release, and a 3/8″ rimfire scope base that is machined into the receiver. Included is “V” slot, folding-leaf rear and sling swivel studs. This Standard model has an 18″ blued barrel, OD green synthetic stock with two long length of pull modules, and a flush-mounted 10/22 BX-1 10-round rotary magazine.

2 years agoI really like this little rifle, the 18" barrel is nice and compact. I've only put about 50 rounds through it, just plinking so I can't really report on accuracy but i expect it will be good. My only small complaint is the stock. It fits decent And everything, it just has a little ring to it when you fire a round- similar to the noise a buffer tube on an ar makes. I'm very happy with it and would buy it again

2 years agoGreat shooter right out of the box. 1/2" groups or less at 50 yds, very easy to shoot, love the gun. I paired it with the BSA Sweet 22 and it went well.

2 years agoGreat rifle. shoots as good a my friends cz 457 and tikka. I'm sure that now and then a bad one gets out of the factory, but mine seems to be great. we shoot clay pigeons at our gun range at 120 to 130 yards, then shoot and break the large pieces we can see. naturally we are using 3x9 & 4/12 scopes. Are eyes are not what they used to be. But its great cheap shooting fun.

2 years agoTo be honest, I have not shot it yet. Just mounted a Vortex scope to it. Very pleased with the quality of the gun and the excellent service by Grab-a-gun. Based on Ruger's quality and reputation, I expect the rifle to shoot just fine.

1 year agoSoooooo quiet with a suppressor. Accuracy isn't "amazing" but is minute of squirrel at 48m (the range from our deck to the backstop)

1 year agoGreat suppressor host! I adjusted the trigger down to 2.5 lbs. always fun and cheap to shoot, love that it takes 10/22 mags.

1 year agoThere's nothing NOT to like about this ammo. I sighted it in to hit 3/4 inch high at 100 yards, which according to Hornady's ballistic sheet, will put it 1/4 inch high at 200 yards (note; the ammo and rifle are capable, but my 69 year old eyes need to be capable too!). The fields where I'll be doing the majority of my shooting is limited mostly to 200 yards (300 in a few spots), due to the tree line. Time to raise h**l with the woodchuck and coyote populations!
