Great carry revolver, double action is smooth single action breaks like glass. Handles full power 357 much better than a lcr or alloy j frame. Beautiful revolver.

Nice little revolver, bought it just to say I have a Smith and Wesson as I'm a Ruger guy. However this little revolver has not been a disappointment I highly recommend it.

Close visual examination of this gun shows obvious attention to quality control on S&W’s part. It has a pretty good thump to the shooting hand with magnum loads. With the stock grips it seemed to deliver almost all felt recoil to the center of the palm. I installed a set of Pachmayr Compac grips and recoil is far better. Very happy with this gun. This revolver feels awesome in my hand. 3 inch barrel still fits in my pocket. Very accurate and beautiful to behold! It will shoot 357 magnum but I would stick with 38 special. This is the only revolver you probably need.
