Smith and Wesson M&P9 Shield Plus Performance Center 9mm 3.1" Barrel 13-Rounds MS

I own the original M&P 9mm Shield and enjoy it. The 9mm Shield Plus is much improved with the trigger enhancements, larger ammo capacity, ported barrel and the fiber optic sights that help my old weakening eyes. I'm glad I purchased this very accurate weapon.

This gun has a great trigger and just as accurate as my full size beretta px4. It has become my go to pistol. Great capacity, easy to carrry, and accurate. I love it

Micro 9mm that feels like a full size pistol! If you've got a bigger hand at all, you'll appreciate the feel of it in your hand over other micros!

The Shield Plus 9mm Performance Center has been terrific. Right out of the box it shot great. Love the fiber optic sights too. Great pistol.

I have been very pleased with this firearm. The only thing I wish is that there were we extra magazines readily available. The only way to get extra 13 round magazines as of this review, is from sellers gouging people on online auction sites. I refuse to pay people like that. I wish Smith & Wesson had accessories for proven customers. This will affect my future purchases depending on how they handle this situation, as well as many of friends and family members. Without the proper accessories available, this firearm is useless for a lot of it's intended purpose.

No brainer that this is probably one of the best of better yet the best concealed carry pistol! Performance wise is top notched! Shoots really great and accurate! The recoil is better than my max 9 ruger and hellcat…ergonomics is sweet for my small hands, im a medium size gloves….i can’t think if any bad flaws on this pistol and for the price point it is ok ???? ok maybe 3 mags will def be a great additional star if they added ???? overall i love it an this will be my daily cc gun.

Great size for EDC. I really like the feel and grip angle of the M&P pistols so this was an easy pick for me. I like the fiber optic sights. I need to put more rounds through it to decide if I love the ported slide/barrel.

Love my S&W Shield 9mm Plus PC! Had a S&W Shield 40 PC, but always felt it lacked round capacity. Sold it and got this one. Can't go wrong, new or old shooters.

Weii, it II s my 2nd one so that should be a hint! The PC version has the fiber optic sights and ported barrel that I wanted to compare to my non-PC version, both are 9mm. I plan to shoot them at the same range session but it has not happened yet. Gut feel is that the ported barrel does reduce recoil a bit and know that the fiber sights help my old eyes on overcast days. Triggers are about the same with a 1/2 lb less on the PC version according to my gauge. Both are manual

Small gun but 13 round magazine gives me plenty of grip area and the porting keeps the gun pointed where it should be when firing.

I like my shield plus very much. It’s small enough for me to Carry everyday. And it’s easy to shoot.

Shoots great out of the box. I love the trigger feel and the ergonomics. This small gun shoots like something much bigger.

It’s easy to operate with very little recoil. The sights are amazing. The gun fits in my hand very comfortably.

The shield plus performance is a great upgrade from the original shield, but no matter what the shield is a great gun. You can't go wrong with the shield for self protection in my opinion. I traded my Shield for the Shield Plus. Wow!! This pistol feels great and shoots even better. Mine came with night sights. I love it!!!

First of all the shield they sent me was clearly used. I had to clean it before I could even use it, it was so dirty. Scratches on the slide and sights. They disassembled the optic for some reason. Me personally I don’t think there is a better handgun out there than a S&W all 6 of my handguns are S&W and if i ever get any more they will be S&W????????????

Nice and compact. Excellent craftsmanship and quality. Grips very well and easy to conceal. It’s worth every penny of your investment.

I don’t think this a normal issue with this weapon system but I had very weird reliability issue with the gun. Failure to eject and the slide would never lock back when the weapon was empty. I wanted to love the gun but what good is a gun like this if you can’t trust it.
