2 years agoAs a beginner. I am hitting bullseye almost every shot other guns I tryed I could not keep the grouping at all. And I like the feel of the grip with the extended clip

2 years agoThanks for the work you put in. My 9 Shield kicks. Everything I expected. Sealed / Cosmoline / Brand new as I ordered. I gave up shooting it after 3 clips because it was flawless! I would recommend ordering from PSA (Palmetto State Armory) to anyone anytime!

2 years agoThis is a very good gun at a good price. I've shot it at the range and had the same tight grouping as I do with other weapons.

2 years agoThe Shield has always been a perfect size for daily carry, and now it's even better with the 2.0 improvements!

1 year agoA smooth trigger pull and audible reset is comforting in a firearm to me. The grip and texture is perfect for my hands and I knew it after I held it the first time, and my thought was solidified after the first round I put down range. Much like every firearm, the 2.0 isn't perfect for everyone. What I enjoyed about it most is that I can manipulate the manual thumb safey and magazine release button all without shifting my hands. Something I can't do so easy with most full size firearms.

1 year agoOverall unimpressed, the slide is from an original version of the M&P Shield and the lower is from the 2.0 line. Called Palmetto State Armory and they basically told me it was my problem, not theirs. I am currently trying to get things straightened out with Smith & Wesson.

1 year agoThis gun is a great gun that fits almost any man or woman. It is big enough for self protection and concealment with being to bulky.

1 year agoThere is always anew firearm, the latest and greatest for those who constantly are looking for the magic bullet that will make them better shooters etc. Won't happen! Sorry. Train and practice will make you better regardless of the firearm chosen. Just ask a 1911 shooter! The Shield is a single stack 9mm that was the most popular handgun on the market when it came out. It has been upgraded slightly and is still imho the best value $$ for a single stack 9mm,in a size easy enough to carry but

1 year agoI got mine over a year ago. This is one of the best feeling handguns. No need to add grip tape. It's very rough in you palms for no slipping. I feel this is one of them guns that you get more then you pay for

1 year agoI really like this weapon, everything feels great, operates better and is more accurate than I am. This pistol is really a great value, nothing to complain about in my humble opinion. This has replaced my beloved Glock 43 that I have owned since they have been manufactured and carried daily. Just feels like an upgrade to the Glock 43 and more refined than the original. You can't go wrong.

1 year agoThe only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because the round count is low, but I knew what I was buying, and it’s accurate and my wife has no problems with the slide. The slide release isn’t the easiest, but so far so so good with the rest of the gun.

1 year agoGreat shipping time, even during the pandemic situation. Gun arrived as expected and in expected condition.

1 year agoI have all three cals in gen 1, the 2.0 stippling adds grip. Not a lot of change to note other than a little bump on the lower behind the trigger, fish scales on the front of the slide. I don't have enough rounds through it yet to compare pull weight due to ammo cost. One thing I am not impressed with is the how finicky the slide is going back on rails vs gen 1 slides back smoothly. Overall for a slim daily carry, you cant beat reliable S&W security. No need for anything fancy, just need it hidden!

1 year agoI love shield for carry gun. As NRA instructor this one of best carry guns for the money and very reliable. I have had multiple students try various styles of this gun and 95% usually buy one after shooting.

1 year agoI bought this for my wife. Too cold to shoot yet here in MN but maybe this weekend! Everything as expected and Palmetto State Armory was great to work with.

1 year agoHad to wait a little bit for the delivery due to the winter storm. But it was definitely worth the wait. Absolutely love it!

1 year agoI love the Mp shield..great handgun..hit my target 4 out of 5 times from 50 yards away straight out of the box..but i do have to say the Springfield Armory Hellcat 9mm is my favorite sub compact 9mm

1 year agoGreat little CCW handgun. Rated 4/5 because the slide release was impossibly stiff from the factory. I had bruises on my thumb after pressing it 10 times to see it it would loosen up. I had to (carefully) round it out with a jewelers file so I could thumb it down without killing my thumb.

1 year agoGreat little gun for conceal carry. I’ve had it to the range a couple times and have a few hundred rounds through it without any failures to fire. Groupings have gotten better with practice, but the accuracy issue is more likely the shooter. Seriously though it has been fun to shoot since I’ve had it. PSA shipped fast to my local FFL and I had no issues. Thanks to PSA! I would absolutely recommend for conceal carry.

1 year agoI bought this mainly due to the low price; I love the Shields, I think they are a great edc for anyone as well as a nice home defense gun. It's small lightweight and will fit in any ones hands which is nice. I had a 40 shield and original model and let it get away so i replaced it recently with the shield plus in 9mm as a edc to supplement my others. This will be a range gun and a stick it your pocket when I go out in the woods taking pictures of nature. I think S&W came up with the best little
