1 year agoI want to like this gun, however I have sent this thing back to S&W multiple times. Sometimes this thing will go Bang!, Sometimes it won't. Sometimes the magazine will fall out of the gun while shooting it, Sometimes it falls out just carring it. Now it just sits there.

1 year agoI’ve had the non-engraved black model for 8+ years. Outside of 21ft I had trouble getting on paper. Reviewed an expert shooting this gun on video. Now this is my daily carry. It does require a long trigger pull. this weapon is perfect for purpose. Range targets attest to guns ability. Also takes all types of ammo I’ve used.

1 year agoWhen dressing light the Bodyguard is the perfect choice. Never a failure to feed when practicing at the range. This is not a good choice for those looking for a range gun. This tiny .380 will punish your hand., but practice is important to master the recoil. When you're out with a tee shirt and shorts this highly concealable gun excels!

1 year agoFirst trip to the range and had issues the whole time with the magazines dropping out while firing. Will be contacting S&W customer service.

1 year agoI like the gun size and caliber but the magazine keeps coming out after every round had to send back to factory for repairs still waiting for repairs

1 year agoThings I like: Shoots really well with little recoil and is accurate. Easier to conceal. Stainless steel and scroll work on the slide gives it a retro look instead of just another plastic pistol. Members of my family shot the gun and liked how it handled. Thing I don't like: The trigger pull is to long. But I knew that from reading reviews of the pistol before I purchased.

1 year agoI bought a new Bodyguard 380 years ago, must have been an early model because I had issues. The earliest ones had breaking firing pins but S&W corrected that. They had a laser that did not function well and S&W replaced it with a different brand (Crimson Trace) that works fine. I have that one. I had these issues: Mag release button too long, I had to shorten it slightly to prevent accidentally ejecting the mag while firing. Failure to fire - light primer strikes with different brands of ammo,

1 year agoI really like this gun. I have an lcp ll, also. I like that gun but I’m getting some arthritis in my hands and it’s so small and snappy it’s harder on my hands. The larger Smith & Wesson is easier to grip and hold. Not a fan of the engraved slide, but I can live it given the advantages the Bodyguard has over the Ruger. It came with two magazines as opposed to the one that came with the Lcp.

1 year agoThis little pistol is so pretty and seems like it was made for my petite hands. I have two lovely rings from Indonesia that match it. It was a perfect birthday present to myself.
