2 years agoSo, I was pulled to the Blackhawk line after watchhing one too many old westerns and was found that GrabAGun had some of the best prices around on them. Shipping was fast and affordable and I had the gun in my hands less than a week later. Fit and finish were astounding for a $500 gun and my only "complaint" is that the power difference between Cowboy and modern loads is pretty severe. If you're considering one, go for it.

1 year agoAlthough I have only had this Ruger Blackhawk 45LC/45ACP convertible for a short time it has become my favorite revolver. I can shoot mild cast loads for target shooting or full house magnum type loads for big game hunting. The 45ACP cylinder is also a nice feature that allows one to shoot the low cost plinking ammo that is available.

1 year agoI love this gun. Both calibers shoot comfortably and accurately. I like the flexibilty of choosing colt or acp. Nonetheless, I will likely shoot the 45 colt more often; its my favorite.

1 year agoIn process of sighting in at range. On at 10 yes and close on 25. My service was excellent especially since I first ordered 357 and last minute changed to 45. They were so accomodating to make the change. I love being able to shoot the 45acp cylinder for economical purposes. Great job Grabagun !!

1 year agoSon wanted this for a long time and I convinced him to get the dual cylinder. Can shoot cheap .45 ACP all day or reload some 45 colt. Since its a Blackhawk can put in hot 45 Colt loads. There is something about a single action and then not having to overpay for 45 colt ammo is fantastic. Cylinder Swap is easy.

1 year agoAfter day at the range, the Ruger blackhawk45 convertible proved to be extremely accurate at 25 yards. Both 45 LC and 45 ACP were punching holes in the bulls eye without adjustment to the sights. You gotta love it.

1 year agothis is a Great pistol. only grip was the grips. I replaced mine with American Holly and they look like aged ivory. having the extra cylinder is nice when you want to shoot easy to find 45acp. As always, Grabagun is the only place to shop!

1 year agoObviously, in current climate, have not really had a chance to exercise weapon. Looks great, action is smooth and cylinder transfer is as advertised. don't much care for the grips, but that's not really your responsibility. ruger makes quality products and you guys offer them at great prices, couldn't be happier.

1 year agodue to covid quarantines, i have not been able to shoot it yet. Howevber, it is well made and the precision action is a joy. apart from that, it's a beautiful pistol, which is my main motive for single action revolvers.

1 year agoThe process was easy and convenient. I was waiting for this model to be available and when it popped up I jumped on it. It just happens that the local FFL was only 20 minuets away, They called me when it arrived and I picked up the same day.

1 year agoThis new RUGER Blackhawk convertible 45 revolver came in excellent condition. It was a fair price and came in quickly after I ordered it. I could not find this revolver through any other gun dealer in three different states.

1 year agoFirst time ordering from Guns.com. Have been looking for the Blackhawk convertible (in .357/9mm) for a long time. Easy to order. Will use again, especially for hard to find items.

1 year agoThe caliber versatility is appealing. I have an SP-101 .22 but this is my first Ruger single action handgun. The blued finish is beautiful & it was accurate out of the box. I am familiar with transfer bar mechanisms but the loading gate interlocks take safety to a different level. Disappointingly, the grips had a gap & were slightly loose....Read More Read more about review stating 4 Stars, However...

1 year agoBecause I’m a lady I have smaller hands. It’s difficult for me to cock the revolver without changing my grip. Therefore I have to re-adjust my grip each time before I fire which is time consuming . I love that it shoots 9mm.
