The Ruger I bought is a classic example of Ruger's single action firearms. There are subtle changes in the New Model Black-hawk and they appear to be for the best. I really like the new grips. Fit and finish is excellent. I still can't believe the incredible price and it was in my hands within two days. I haven't fired it yet. It's winter here in Montana and I am just to old to play in the snow anymore. It's a Ruger. I know it will be a shooter. I am sold on GAG and God willing, I'll be back .

I was really glad I was able to buy this Ruger Blackhawk locally at a decent price. I like Western firearms and own several Marlin lever actions, but I don't do cowboy shooting. I wanted a single action revolver in 45LC to go along with them. I would recommend the Blackhawk to anyone looking for a big bore, heavy duty revolver at a reasonale price. If you can't decide between blued and stainless, buy both. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.

I've fired a few hundred rounds through it already, including some high pressure handloads. Great accuracy and the adjustable rear sight is very nice. Very satisfied with this gun.
