2 years agoI love mine. I was a tad hesitant on the purchase. (I got the white one) I show a friend of mine the pistol, he bought on the next day. If I'm not mistaken, it made gun of the year in 2017. It really is a great gun. I have a tactical FN .45 and FN 509, this gun is right up there with them. Seriously, this gun is fun to shoot and it's a tack driver. For the money, it's a 'Best Buy". You WILL NOT be disappointed.

2 years agoI’ve only had the chance to shoot it a couple of times. Does feel like a two-stage trigger but has a slight stop before getting to the wall. The break is clean. The reset is sweet! Slide has a short cycle and sounds crisp. Wish you could keep the rear sight with an RMR on it. The mags don’t fit 20 rounds. The last hole is marked “18” on both mags and I can only fit 19. Don’t think it’s the spring or follower. Capacity not as advertised. Will update later when I can shoot it more.

1 year agoLove the mag capacity though it makes it a bit heavy. Haven't gotten out to the range withbit yet because I refuse to support the gouging on ammo prices. But I'm as pleased as I can be without firing it yet. Took longer to get than I expected, but with the Covid crap, I guess that's to be expected.

1 year agoChose this after shooting several different Glocks and CZ handguns. 4 months and 500 rounds later and i am 100% certain i chose correctly. Couldn't be happier. Now looking to get a red dot and other cosmetic modification!

1 year agoGun was available and shipped out very timely to my FFL dealer. Gun is wicked accurate right out of the box. Standard complaint is with the mags and it’s true, they are 18 round and not 20 as advertised. Thought I’d order 20’s from Canik and they have been out of stock forever. Overall great gun but would be better suited to competition with the proper mags. 5 star gun with 2 star promises.

1 year agoBy far one of the best handguns I’ve purchased so far! The price in comparison with what comes with the gun is great.

1 year agoI bought one today and immediately put 100 rounds of target ammo (115gr FMJ) through it, then 20 rounds of carry ammo (Underwood 90gr Xtreme Defender). It functioned flawlessly. I have been a 1911 snob for many, many years. A 1911 trigger snob, specifically. The trigger on this Canik is as nice as any trigger I've tried on any non-1911. I don't like how much take-up there is, but it's not bad. And the reset is super short. Once I'm on it, this thing just rolls! I tried (dry fired) a CZ

1 year agoThe Canik TP9SFX is one of the best gun deals on the market today. 500 bucks get you basically a complete starter pack (holster, warren sights, optics plates, cleaning kit, mags, speed loader, and more) and an amazing out of the box target pistol. I have used mine in classes designed for tactical operations and it performed flawlessly. I have thousands of round through mine and not a single Hangup.

1 year agoThis gun is ready to shoot right out of the box and it feels great. This was my second Canik and it gets better with the upgrades. I just bought a Canik Mete and cant wait to compare these two.

1 year agoIt's light yet very tough. The pistol fire smoothly and accurately. It a pleasure to fire. Design is great. Would recommend.

1 year agoGreat Gun for the price its a steal! Fantastic trigger/ These guns require a break in period if you are using 115 grain 9mm 1100fps bullets, they are designed for heavier 124 grain bullets 1250fps essentially Plus P that are regular in NATO countries that these guns are primarily made for. After about 200 rounds they tend to fire the 115's just fine. I didn't have any problems with mine because I started out using the 124 and 147 grain rounds. have put around 700 rounds thru the gun flawlessly.

1 year agoI really enjoy shooting this pistol. Accurate and easy shooting. Quality impressed me. Good price from PSA. I've shot 600 rounds thru it without an issue. 124gr reloads mainly (from freedom). It's now my go to gun. I thought my Beretta 92S was good, but this seems lighter and easy to handle. Get this!

1 year agoLove this gun, and caniks really. I also bought the mete with ported slide same exact size. One of the differences is that the mete can do co witness sights with red dot and steel sights. Still wouldn’t trade any of my caniks. I even want to learn some turkish quotes for the range.

1 year agoLove this pistol so far! I wish the grip was slightly smaller like my VP9 but I’ve been super accurate with it at the range. It’s hands down the smoothest and best shooting gun for the money. Hurry and buy before the price goes up.

1 year agoBest factory pistol trigger I've found. Great shooting gun. Hard to find extra mags(been hard to find for years). I bought the aftermarket brass back strap and flared mag well. The extra weight helps mitigate recoil. I placed a Vortex Venom on mine and it is a dream.

1 year agoThe gun was extremely accurate right out of the case. Exactly as described and a great value !!! I am anxious to select my next Canik for concealed carry!

1 year agoThis was my first hand gun ever and as a novice this gun is epic. I have big hands & this is a big hand gun. Reminds me of robo cop. Works without issues only out 300 rounds through it but no jams or anything. Looks bad ass

1 year agoThis one's great right out of the box. I made absolutely no adjustments to the gun and was able to keep tight groups immediately. The "extras" that come with it are a very nice touch (especially the magazine loader, which saves wear and tear on the fingers). For the money, I can't think of a better handgun.
