Federal 45 Auto/ACP 230gr HST Ammunition 20RDS – P45HST2S

I've never tested it in a real world self defense situation...but it cycles great through my Ruger 1911 which is probably most important.

After much study of self defense/duty ammos, I settled on 3. The Federal HST is in that top 3 I carry in my guns for self defense. They feed well in my .45's, .40's, and 9mm firearms with larger frames. However, I have a problem with consistent feeding in some of my compact guns. I suggest testing your own guns. In my own opinion, the performance in various tests for self defense make it worthwhile to test the HST in your own guns. See for yourself.

These round feed through my 1911 with ease and the recoil is minimal at best . I’ve only shot about 50 since these are my carry ammo but so far they are great . And the price is on point

a true heavyweight in the world of ammo...never have I had an issue with this ammo in over 500 shots. I will always love the 45 acp cartridge 230 grain, full weight full power total destruction. enough said.

Haven't open the box yet. These are my usual ammo and I'm sure I'll have great dependability out of these as WELl...

Great Ammo & shipping was done in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is that they run out of plus P HST ammo too quickly
