1 year agoWith all the praise in the reviews for this single stack 9 I thought it was 2010. Then I realized it’s actually 2022 and 6 out of 7 reviews were unverified for this new “micro compact”. The M&P shield has 33 verified reviews out of 35 total, Glock 43 had 45 verified reviews out of 47 total. And yet this pistol, which is widely being discredited as a more expensive version of the honor guard, is receiving praise from 6 unverified reviews. Pretty shady. Just like calling a single stack 9 a

1 year agoWhat's not to like? We got pretty much all controls except the takedown lever as ambi: slide release, mag release, safety (if you like them). The sights are adequate enough, I'm not a fan of optics on what's basically a pocket pistol, but to each his own. It's not a knock as far as I'm concerned. Grip texture looks both tactile and generous- pretty much everywhere skin would touch this thing. The single finger cutout should satisfy all hands, and it even offers additional backstraps for

1 year agoI'm gonna go with 4 star to offset the person complaining that it isn't optics ready.... Not Every Pistol Needs To Be Optics Ready.

1 year agoI have only two complaints about this pistol. It has no provision for attaching a red dot sight or scope and the trigger is terrible, measuring eight lbs plus in double action mode. Other than that, it shoots to point of aim well and groups acceptably at anticipated ranges.

1 year agoLots to love on this gun, checks all the boxes you want in a micro compact 9mm at a competitive price point. Fully ambidextrous controls including mag release is a nice touch. Lighting cuts are a nice touch on the slide. There is no reason for a micro compact pistol designed to be as small as possible for deep concealed carry to be optics ready so that is not a con on this gun. Glad to see Savage getting into the handgun game.

1 year agoI'll offset it as well bc I can shoot without an optic and won't give a firearm a bad review bc of it. Clown

1 year agoThis gun is gonna be great. And doesn't need to be optics ready. Not everyone wants to spend another 150-300 for a red dot. Besides, who's got time to switch out a dead button battery when you need to reload. Seriously.

1 year agoGreat gun. Well made also. Learn to use your iron sights and you won't need an optic, besides they don't need new batteries. ???? ????

1 year agoWe bought this yesterday for my wife. Just finished up a 100+ rd burn through this bad little boy and I cannot complain about anything. Recoil is low, balanced great, trigger is nice and easy and its accurate. Low price point solid AF weapon. Savage came with it on this entry into the hand-gun realm. I have Sig, Kimber, and S&W and this fits right in with the big boys in my opinion.
