Christensen Arms Mesa Bronze / Green 6.5 PRC 24" 4-Round

I bought Mesa Burnt Bronze in 6.5 PRC and have been shooting it well. All my hand load combinations have been MOA or less without any tuning and my specific action / barrel has tight tolerances which is fantastic. My main complaint about the gun is that it is no-where near the advertised weight of 6.5 lbs. In fact my 6.5 PRC with a 24" barrel comes in a 7.8 lbs which was incredible disappointing to say the least. I would have spent more money to get a lighter weight gun if I would have known about the deception of weight. So if you don't care about a heavy rifle, this gun is otherwise spectacular.

Very accurate and muzzle break tames the recoil very well . And its just a great looking gun. Very pleased.

Great gun, I didn’t have to do the complete barrel break in that CA suggest, it was putting bullet holes touching each other at 100yds at about 30 rounds. I really like the look and the feel, I have all the confident in this rifle to shoot accurately, for hunting purposes. I do wish CA would make a thread protector to match the cerakote of the barrel.

Christensen Arms 6.5 PRC performs outstanding. Shoots sub 1/2" moa and trigger is flawless. My daughter Nicole has taken several nice deer and seems to like it better than her Browning 270 WSM.

Haven’t had the opportunity to shoot this yet, I need to pair it with a Leupold VX-6HD. The firearm is absolutely amazing in hand though.

So far I've been extremely impressed with this rifle its light weight and shoots 1/2 groups. What more can you ask for.

This rifle appears to be about perfect and is exactly as described. I would prefer the trigger about 8 ounces lighter but it most certainly is useable as is. I have never mounted a scope and has first shots hit exactly perfect. Congrats Christensen and Sportsmans!
