2 years agogreat value .22lr tactical rifle. this gun is very good shooting with 100 to 1100 fps ammo. i really like the magazines they are easy to load and sturdy made. the only down fall is the trigger. it's extremly heavy. with some work that can be cured. very dependable gun it dosen't miss a beat!

1 year agoThis all aluminum AR has an impressive build and reliability. Balanced weight distribution and the full metal construction invites confidence. Suppresor ready barrel and m-lok guard makes it very tactical. German build quality is second to none. Bulk ammo is no problem and no adjustment really needed between different velocity and weight. CCI varmint 32gr/1650fps gave the best feedback. It was very accurate with all ammo types. 30rd clip extends playtime fun but is a bit oversized.

1 year agoI have had this gun for a couple a month or so now and it is a great gun with a great build. It also is a good gun to add a sight such as a red dot onto it as i did. It is also great for kids. Unloading the clip is the best part about it without worrying about buying expensive ammo.

1 year agoJust took this gun to the range for the first time this weekend. Nice little gun to train my daughter with. Just enough recoil to let you know you fired a shot but nothing that would scare away a first time shooter. We ran 250 rounds of Federal 40 Grain ammo. We had one malfunction. Incredible for 22LR. Planing on trying out some different types of ammo this weekend. Build quality is solid and I love the fact that its NOT PLASTIC. Butt Stocks a little cheap and rattles. The sites are plastic but both are things you can change out. My only knock thus far is the Mag. The screw came out of the guide. Luckily I had an Allen Key with me and was able to fix that. Differently recommend this gun.

1 year agoIt has been reliable with any ammo I run through it and is a lot of fun to shot. The trigger is a little heavy and takes a while to get used to. The sights are just OK, but I use a red dot sight anyway.

1 year agoI bought this almost a year ago. it may only be a 22lr but this gun is light, accurate and fun to shoot. if you are looking for an ar style build for a child or for yourself just to plink. Its a great option. The gun is easy to clean has accurate factory sight, and the pinkatiny rail allows for use of all sort of attachments. Would recommend to anyone looking for fun. one more thing 22lr ammo is cheap and always available

1 year agoonly negative i have is the trigger pull is over 10 lbs...very hard pull...gun shoots accurately and cycles even the cheapest of .22 ammo...overall its a very good gun with a very heavy trigger...hoping it loosens up after a few thousand rounds

1 year agoVery pleased with the quality of the rifle and the accuracy, I replaced the trigger springs with Match Grade springs and added a Sig Sauer Red Dot sight.

1 year agoI bought this for my son to introduce him to recreational shooting. Very little to no recoil and the 22lr ammo readily available and not expensive like other ammo. Added a vortex scope and bi pod to make it look cool for him. I also bought a 22 shooting tree to make it more interesting. Lots of fun to shoot no jams, overall en excellent rifle.

1 year agoI have to eject 2-3 rounds every mag, and have had to pry out a few with pliers. Using Winchester M-22 rounds. Ordering another mag and going to try other ammo, will update review if this fixes the issue.

1 year agoSo since I’m from Cali. I bought mine at another store since Bass Pro did not have on sale the 10 round model. Besides that it’s an awesome rifle for plinking, target, hunting, pest control. I certainly would have bought at Bass Pro if the 10 round version was in stock.

1 year agobesides the forward assist being aesthetics only, it is a nice rifle, I'd suggest also removing the flash hider and just putting a thread protector on the end because it catches the mother load of lead and builds up heavy. certainly not the easiest rifle to clean. for the price, if you want the combo of .22lr/threaded barrel end/AR-style platform this thing is the way to go

1 year agoI decided 11 months I wanted to have some fun with a .22lr, This Hammerli Tac R1 22 Did just That! After the first day at the range there was definitely some Things I wanted to change. But Everything I wanted to do, i couldn't because the upper and lower Receviers were Completely different From An Ar-15 upper and lower. So this made it hard finding what I could change or do. I've delt with lots of parts and Aluminum is just a soft & easy metal to work with. So I decided to go with All Red Timber Creek Anodized Parts. With this the challenge was Drilling and recutting some things to make it all fit. I believe I spent around 7hours total making all the little adjustments, cutting/ drilling. I've Shot well over 4000Rds through this and have had no issues! Just a regular Gun clean after every couple of uses. For me I'm a really active shooter so my guns are constantly clean. I havnt had too many jams if anything just crappy cheap ammo. The Remington Golden .22lr Ammo is what I've been using Through this Rilfe. 1 problem I did have after 3months of use with a sling and ect the buffer tube actually snapped in the threads! Which is why mine in the picture is different from your base model. Hope you guys enjoy your Toy & As always, Happy Shootin!

1 year agoPleased with the construction and light weight build of the gun. Good flip-up iron sights and a nice rail for various optics.
