Weatherby Mark V Carbonmark Cerakote Black Bolt Action Rifle – 257 Weatherby Magnum – 26in – The Mark V CarbonMark is a custom built, stunningly-precise rifle ready for any adventure. This carbon barrel is lightweight, accurate, and fast-cooling. Using a 416R stainless steel match barrel roll-wrapped with a carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension to create strength and reduce overall weight. 95% of the carbon fiber does not touch the barrel allowing air to foil around the
steel and rapidly cool the barrel, adding rigidity and reducing overall weight. This creates an incredibly strong barrel that dissipates heat very well and provides consistent accuracy with high shot counts. The 5/8×24 threaded barrel accepts a muzzle brake or suppressor to increase your shooting experience. If you are looking for a combination of breakthrough rifle performance and rugged reliability this rifle should already be in your gun safe!

The Mark V Carbonmark, in 300 Wby Mag, is an amazing firearm! The accuracy, weight, and look is exceptional. This firearm is a pleasure to shoot as the felt recoil is managed very well through the impressive engineering!

Well worth the wait. I ordered a Carbonmark in 6.5-300 as a result of the 2019 SHOT show and its superior qualities. Unfortunately, those characteristics were never achieved in production and it never hit the market due to issues with performance. The 2020 Carbonmark exceeds its hype. A real tack driver shot after shot paired with good looks, I am impressed with the sharp trigger and reduced weight improvements.

The new Carbonmark in the .257 Weatherby is an awesome rifle all the way around. Factory 115 grain ammo is shooting 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards. I have shot it out to 400 yards and it still is shooting very accurately, of course paired with the right scope. This is my first gun review ever and it tells you how much I love it.

I received a Mark V Carbonmark in 6.5 Creedmoor. Topped it with a NF NXS 4-32 scope with Tremor3 Reticle, adjusted trigger, zeroed in 5 shots then took shots at 500, 830, 1030, 1406 yards all hits. I own many custom rifles, and the fit and finish on this production rifle is every bit as good as my custom rifles. By far the nicest shooting and finest hunting rifle I’ve owned. Weatherby hit it out of the park with this one.

I have shot the new Weatherby Mark V Carbonmark 6.5 RPM twice at the local range and could not be more pleased. With factory ammo i am shooting right at 1/2 inch three shot groups and ringing the 300 yard steel plate using elbows on the bench. Out of the box this Weatherby is as solid as any custom rifle i have shot. I topped it will a new Maven scope and we are ready for Pronghorn season.

I just shot my .300 weatherby carbonmark, and couldn’t be more happy. 1/2 groups with factory 180 accubonds. Kicks like a 6.5 creedmoor with the brake, and doesn’t seem to be as loud as you would expect it to be with the brake on it. A little heavy with it being a gun with a carbon barrel, but hard to be disappointed with having a cartridge like that be that accurate, and hardly kick.

I bought the Carbonmark in 300 Wby. in December of 2021. Once the weather here in Minnesota allowed for a day at the range I went out and sighted in my rifle. The picture included was from my final 3-shot group at 100 yards using 180gr. Scirocco, before making final scope adjustments. .567″ group! After a few clicks on the scope I’m sitting dead center on windage, and 3″ high at 100 yards for a 300 yard zero. Completely blown away at the accuracy of such a powerful cartridge. This was my first Weatherby rifle and cartridge. It most certainly won’t be my last.

I purchased my new 6.5 CM Carbonmark back in the spring… I put a Leupold VX5 HD 3-15×44 on it. I finally got around to breaking it in this August and once broke in, ran several test loads through it to find the most accurate load… to my surprise, the gun actually shot most of the 8 loads very well however in general, it liked the IMR 4895 just a bit better than the IMR 4350. I was beyond pleased with how the rifle shot – definitely sub-MOA (.561”) 4-shot group to be exact. I’m excited to get it into the field as my confidence is over the top with this rifle system!!!
