1 year agoI own two MPRs. One in 6.5 CM, and the 300 WM. Both are well made but need to cool between shot strings. I have had an issue getting magazines for the 300 WM. Christiansen said just buy Accuracy International mags. However, they don’t fit. I’ve also tried Magpul mags. Both are about a quarter inch too short to stay in the Mag well. Otherwise, I’ve been pretty happy with these rifles. The folding stock really help with fitting them in a single hard case.

1 year agoI had 5 issues with mine right out of the box: 1-deformed shell casings when ejected, eject springs are not timed properly 2-chatter marks on bullet tip, from burr on loading/feed ramp 3-The magazine (Accurate Mag) is a CIP standard and the only manufacture for this mag at $100. It is junk, the follower does not have a leveler in it and allows nose drop of bullet in feed . I ended up having to hand feed 45 rounds for the break in 4- the 4th set screw on the slayer break will thread

1 year agoExtremely well designed rifle. Smooth bolt when chambering and ejecting. Very unique stainless steel lined carbon composite wrapped barrel that dicipated heat nicely. Muzzle brake really tamed the abusive recoil you would normally get with a 300 winchester magnum. I equipped the rifle with a 8-34x 56 althion scope and was able to hold a 11/2" group at 200 yards. This rifle is a real pleasure to shoot.

1 year agoThis is by far the most ridiculous rifle I've ever owned. The recoil is practically nonexistent, it's witchcraft seriously I don't even know how to describe it. My mini 14 chambered in .223 might kick more than this thing does. When I got it I was dreading the first shot ready to get kicked by a mule, I didn't even realize the gun had gone off when the sound hit me. my buddy said the blowback off the muzzle break made him jump big time.

1 year agoNothing comes close to the weight vs accuracy of the mpr. This is one of my favorite set ups for 800-1800 yds. I have over 47 different types of 2000 yds shooters so that’s saying a lot.
