We know very well that no two people agree on the ideal rifle, so we not only give you your choice of Big Boy calibers in .357 Mag/.38 Special, .44 Mag/.44 Special, and .45 Colt, but you can also choose between either a standard 20, barrel and lever, or a compact 16.5, barrel fitted with a large-loop lever for cold-weather gloved use (or just-because style points in general). Both long and short models feature clean checkering on fore-end and straight-wrist stock, our adjustable buck and bead sights, an automatic in-hammer transfer bar safety, and our best-of-both-worlds side loading gate and removable tube magazine configuration.

1 year agoI purchased this rifle Back at the beginning of APRil 2021. She Took over 4 months to show up but boy was it worth it. This has to be the most BEAUTIFUL and at the same time the TOUGHest looking rifle I have ever seen in my life, and its mine! The color case hardened receiver looks simply amazing. 1 year agoI cancelled an order for the standard blue steel receiver model when I saw Sportsman's had the case hardened model in inventory. The case hardened is beautiful and unique to each rifle. Plus the octagon barrel! The side gate is nice but I find myself using the tube magazine as it is easier on the fingers. I had difficulty using the buckhorn sights, so I added the Skinner Peep sight on the available receiver mounting points.

1 year agoI have not yet had the chance to shoot the Henry. It is a beautiful rifle and incredibly balanced. Love having the side gate and tube loader. I started reading a Louis L'Amour novel and early the main character bought a Henry that he described as the best of the West. Very cool.

1 year agoThe bolt is sloppy when opened Called Henry and was told they know there isn't much holding the bolt when its open. As long as it is solid when in battery it's ok. Seem cheap. Won't buy another.
