Great well built rifle. Very accurate and well balanced. 5.56 is a cheaper caliber to shoot and ammo is available everywhere. Also it will take AR mags .The only reasons i didn't give it a 5 star was the color is kind of ugly to me and there are no iron sights. I recommend installing a Bushnell trophy trs-25 red dot sight on the factory picatinny rail for your sight.

Smooth shooting gUn. Starter deer rifle for the kids with a compact, lightweight and low recoil. G.a.g. ShipPed to ffl quickly and notified me during the process. Very happy with the transaction.

Very nice rifle. Fun to shoot, love the AR magazines. Ammo (.223) is much cheaper than just about any other center fire ammo I am aware of. My bolt action smoothed out after about 20 shots and another 20 or 30 cycles during cleaning. I bought a flash suppressor from Ruger which really compliments the gun. I also put a 6 inch bi-pod and sling on it, now it looks cool and shoots great.

I got this rifle mainly for predator hunting and for the short barrel for my silencer to keep the gun’s length realistic. It is very accurate and has a great trigger. I took a coyote 1/4 mile away with it recently so it’s a keeper.

i have been wanting this ranch 5.56 rifle for a few years now. wasn't a fan of the orignal gen 1 rifle mags but when they came out with pmags for this i got it.

Not much of a review so far, as weather and schedule have precluded much range time and load development. However, I am optimistic: on first (short) range trip, using some M4 range handloads, a quick 25 yard sight in yielded successive hits on 100 yard 6" steel circles. Ask me again when I've had more time.

Affordable rifle. Acceptably accurate 1.5-2 MOA. Sticky bolt when new. Trigger pull is ok but I changed the trigger spring on mine. Takes AR Mags. Magpuls work better than metal ones. Put a vg6 gamma on the front. seemed to improve accuracy. stock is flimsy, but i won't change it for now. overall, i think it's a good value. i also own the 7.6239 version. Identical performance and handling.

Great rifle! I have the original Ranch in 300blk and it's good. With the better P-Magset up this is a great choice for varmints. Very accurate with 50grn and 55grn Federal ammo.

I bought this mainly for Fun and it is! Have not Tried it past 50 yards, but it was knocking the center out of a 1-inch orange sticker On every shot! The rifle is phenomenal! I have the same rifle in .22lr and It is equally accurate and loads of fun! The bolt on the 5.56 is very stiff! The.22lr bolt is supErb.

Ordered on a tuesday and RECEIVED on a thursday!!!!!! Same week!!!! already own the ruger 6.5 , .308 and .300. These are very accurate and affordable rifles. Each of mine has a MCarbros trigger job to smooth out that break……. down to low 3s lb which is perfect. Added a cheery bomb muzzle for my trash panda….. i know it will be perfect at the range and i got some various loads to see which works the best with this barrel. Great job on the quick shipping and price

First purchase from Guns.com. Excellent customer service and delivery. After 20 rounds to sight in which had more to do with my novice ability with my Vortex optic than the rifle, was shooting sub MOA 1/4 inch groups at 100 yards and ringing 12, 8 and 5 inch steel plates at 200 yards. Purchased the 223/556 for the compatibility with my AR p-mags B...Read More Read more about review stating Sub MOA out of the box

Purchase was quick and easy and it was delivered on time. However, the fit and finish quality of the new rifle was well below what I've been accustomed to from Ruger. I'm now dealing with Ruger customer service to resolve my concerns. Ruger has been helpful and is working with me. Still awaiting a final outcome. If I'd been able to see the rifle i...Read More Read more about review stating Good order processing/delivery but poor rifle quality

Guns.com were great with their service when it comes to questions for the product, notify when in stock and help setting up with your most trusted FFL. After shooting this rifle, it feels great. Light weight, balance, handles well and great trigger quality.

Thank you! I could not be more pleased with my new rifle. Guns.com possessed and shipped my rifle very quickly and it arrived at my local FFL within 3 days of shipping. The rifle was excellent! I will definitely buy from Guns.com again and recommend to my friends and family!

I purchased one RAR here, and two elsewhere in different calibers. The one from guns.com had no plastic bag around it, had the bolt installed, and a filthy bore. The other two I purchased were in plastic bags, bolts inside box with lock, and clean bores. I feel like I was sold some Internet Idiot's eval rifle or a return as New.

Rifle arrived about a week after I ordered it. Brand new and was in excellent shape. Very accurate rifle from 200 to 300 meters. Third firearm I've ordered from guns.com and my experience has been great each time. Awesome gun for plinking.

I wasn't certain if a 16" barrel would be accurate, but this gun is super accurate. I have hit my targets at 200 yards. That seems to be the limit, but my range is limited to 200 yards. The only negative is Magpul magazines do not work, but the Ruger mags work great.

Wonderful accuracy, shooting .5 MOA at 100 yards, 4 shots all touching at 100 yards, thrilled. Classic Ruger.
