The new .224 Valkyrie cartridge developed by Federal Premium transforms the MSR 15 platform by delivering unmatched long-range ability and exceptional ballistic performance. This cartridge provides extremely flat trajectories and match accuracy beyond 1,300 yd. The .224 Valkyrie offers significantly less wind drift and drop than similar loads in its class, as well as less felt recoil than cartridges of comparable ballistics. It will be the new choice of both long-range target shooters and hunters alike.

2 years agoThis is the cheapest 224 Valkyrie ammo I've seen, and I've already managed a couple of sub MOA groups with it!

1 year agoUsed this ammo to get my scope sighted in. Groups seemed very good with my never been fired Savage .224 MSR. Ready to drop in some 90gr MK and see what she can do.

1 year agoGreat ammo and a great price. Feeds like a charm. NOTE: Use a 5-10 round metal magazine for this AR profile.

1 year agoFor non match grade ammunition was very accurate at 35 yards. 200 rounds with no issue. Will be buying more... When I can afford to.

1 year agoSeemed to be loaded a bit hot. More felt recoil. Cases were sticking in the chamber. One round fired through a chronograph registered at 2948 fps

1 year agoNot the tightest grouping ammo at 100yards. AT least in my 20" upper I built with PSA barrel/BCG. However, it will ring steel all day at 400 yards easy enough so it seems to hit what you're aiming at, even if it won't hold super sub MOA groups. 90gr Fusion is better, but is almost 2x the price per shot. I use this for practice ammo and donor brass. So far I'm happy and will buy more.

1 year agoRounds very inconsistent. some gave excellent groups, and no pressure signs on the brass. Others couldn't even be called a group, with the brass ripped up and cracked not able to be used again. No support from Federal. 5 boxes total, all gave a little different result.

1 year agoHad a Standard Deviation of 28.8 out of a 24" upper. OK for plinking short range but don't expect much past 400 yards in my opinion.

1 year agoI have used this ammo many times for other weapons that I own. In my experience this is value packed ammo manufactured by a company with a superb reputation.

1 year agoI bought a Valkyrie blem upper at a ridiculously low price and bought some American Eagle ammo at an equally ridiculously low price in both 55 and 75 grain offering. Afterall, I was really just after the brass and haven't got my reloading room set up yet, so picked some up to be able to shoot it for the first time in a long time. The first day was like getting back on the horse for the first time in while but the second day I shot 3 1" 5 shot groups and one at 3/4" at 100 yards. The third day

1 year agoI am getting 1 inch groups with this ammo AND PSA 20" Rifle-Length .224 Valkyrie 1/7 Stainless Steel 15" M-Lok Upper ZERO reliability issues, absolutely problems firing or feeding from steel or polymer mags
Buck N.
1 year agoVery accurate for plinking ammo. I usually get MOA out of it. No trouble hitting steel at 4-500 yards.

1 year agoI am getting Nickle sized groups with this ammo & PSA 20" Rifle-Length .224 Valkyrie 1/7 Stainless Steel 15" M-Lok Upper at 100 yards I just bought the upper and sighted in with this ammo. Thrilled with the results.

1 year agoLeast expensive ammo I’m aware of for the 224. It’s accurate enough . 90ish grain ammo seems a lot more accurate & of course more expensive .

1 year agoanother 5stars for another Federal product! The tops hits just keep on coming! Moving or static targets hit without problem and will take a deer! Great ammo!

1 year agoNothing wrong with the ammo. Just me. Accidently clicked on the 224 when I was trying to buy 223. Can't find anybody who shoots this to sell even at a discount.

1 year agoThis is a good target ammo. I have run it through my Valkyrie many times. Recommended for target practice.

1 year agoI've shot this round many times with my PSA 20" stainless barreled, Timney triggered AR with a new Vortex 6X24X50 scope. I've had .4 to .5 MOA 3 shot groups at 100 yards, that's on a good day. At 200 yards, a 4 shot .75 MOA group on steel. Some of the best FMJ ammo on the market.
