Designed by Christopher Miner Spencer, the Spencer rifle gained fame after being adopted by the Union Army during the American Civil War. A manually operated lever action fed from a tube magazine in the buttstock, the Spencer rifle was a vast improvement over the muzzle loading rifles being used during the war. Chiappa Firearms reproduction is manufactured from precision CNC parts precisely joined to beautiful, hand oiled walnut stocks. Color case finish receivers are joined to precision rifle barrels with a blued finish.

1 year agoThe fit of all parts to the wood is outstanding. This is a beautiful rifle that is very accurate and fun to shoot. Only downside is sometimes it fails to eject a fired round. I don't know why because the ejector is well designed and seems to function properly. It will always eject unfired rounds. Hopefully this random malfunction will eventually go away. Anyway, I would recommend buying this rifle. I have received a lot of positive comments about it while at the firing range.
