2 years agoGreat as a truck or home defense shotgun for the price. Cycles reliably with a solid clank. Awesome furniture. I gave 4 stars because of the front site. The tiny piece of red plastic looks great now but we’ll see how long it lasts in subzero temps.

2 years agoGreat shotgun. Stock pad isn't great but it can easily be changed. However....I'm wishing that I had purchased the shotgun from another site/dealer. Customer service at PSA has been terrible. I've been trying for over a month to get my proof of purchase so that I can claim the rebate and at least have purchase history. I don't know what I would do if I had a serious issue. Thankfully that isn't the case. Great prices and good quality but terrible customer care if you need help with even something small.

2 years agoI honestly did not have any expectations when I opted to buy this budget grade pump shotgun. It was more of a curiosity purchase - I mean what do you get for $150 bucks these days so I gambled and was completely surprised. Maybe not at the top of the list but its up there with the best $150 bucks I have ever spent. No joke this is a decent piece at least for now - longevity is unknown but this is a now a solid truck gun so I won't wear it out. It worked flawlessly with 8 types of ammo

2 years agoThis is a good shot gun and with the 20 round magazine that i purchased separately it is a blast. The 9 round free magazine is a joke i have jumped thru hoops and never got it.

2 years agoFantastic shotgun. From the box- took it to the range. 00 buck with the installed choke (full). Ran flawlessly, the action is smooth. Yes, it kicks. It's a fairly lightweight 12ga shotgun, so if that comes as a surprise to you it shouldn't. I'll be getting another one soon.

2 years agoNo jams, shoots well, feels cheap which it is haha 150$ shipped, plus 50$ rebate but can only use it at one website.

2 years agoExcellent gun. Add the great Palmentto price with two rebates from Armscor made this one of the best deals I have ever received on a firearm. The gun has fired any ammo I have run thru it. I'm very happy and satisfied with this purchase.

1 year agoThe best budget shotgun in my opinion, it can be be anything from range day gun, sporting clays or home defense. You can't go wrong for the price.

1 year agoLove the gun! My first magazine fed 12g and it did not disappoint. Great price and fast service from PSA. The “free” 9 round magazine from Rock Island never arrived and they don’t answer emails either.

1 year agoReplaced my aging 500a property manager. Fit and finish is Remington quality, but even more solid. Break-in with true pair sporting clays resulted in zero failures and mag fed COG made for snappy and well balanced acquisition.

1 year agoI like the look of the shotgun, feels good but from day one I had problems. Fired two rounds, broken firing pin, no big deal it happens. My main issue is, it won't chamber low brass practice/target ammo. First and second rounds jams the bolt, 3-4 and 5th chamber and recycle fine. I tried several magazines same problem. Hi Brass no issues at all. If the low brass issue can be resolved I'll keep it, if not I'll sell it.

1 year agoGreat price! Neat idea to put a mag on a pump shotgun. PSA needs to offer the hi-cap mags that are currently offered by the manufacturer. It's a light shotgun. Has a kick to it with slugs and full-house 00 Buck. I shot it with reduced 00 Buck with better results. Runs smooth after a short break-in. Mags load without any hang-ups.

1 year agoNice gun for the money especially with the $50 gift card and extra 9rd mag rebate they’re running. Definitely worth the price.

1 year agoFast and reliable…when I went to pick up my weapons I was told that palmetto was one of the better websites to purchase from

1 year agoReceived a defective unit. After several calls to support I was told it needed to go through warranty department... ordered and recieved the defective gun in 3 days, but to get it fixed I was told 4-6 weeks. On week 5 now and support is horrible. This will be my last gun from Rock Island.

1 year agoI give it 4 out of 5 because of the super cheap sights that come on this shot gun. That said, it is the smoothest pump action I've ever held. The magazine is a wonderful upgrade from old school. That said the magazine takes some getting used to to load. Awesome weapon I have complete faith in. The only decision for self defense is slugs or buckshot. It comes with 3 chokes. Improved cylinder great for slugs, past 20 yards sucks for buckshot. Modified is great for buckshot but dangerous

1 year agoAwesome weapon, 500 rounds and not disappointed yet. Telling all my friends. 4 stars because of cheap sights easily replaced.

1 year agoHandy shotgun. Shot well with both birdshot and buckshot. I liked the first one enough to buy a second one. The sling swivels are too small. I will have to do something about that. My son and daughter in law also had a great time shooting it. For the price it is more than worth it. In addition the rebate allowed me to get two more magazines for each shotgun for a very minimal price from Advanced Tactical.

1 year agoFirst I want to say for a right handed person this is a great gun for the cost, as long as you only use it for home defense/range gun. First and my biggest issue. This gun hates left handed people. The way they have the action release placed there is no way for a left handed person to release the action from the firing position. For me that's a huge turn off. Ya know being a lefty. And next would be it's just a cheap gun. Everything about the gun just feals cheap.

1 year agoI couldn't give it a five-star review for one significant reason. This gun is chambered for 3" shells, but the magazines will only hold 2 3/4" shells. I find this very disappointing. Why chamber a gun for 3" shells and not supply magazines that will hold 3' shells? Does anyone have an answer?
