Beretta’s A400 Xtreme semiauto shotgun is ideal for upland or waterfowl hunting as well as target shooting. The action gives fast follow-up shots and is equipped with built-in rails, so you can easily mount optics. The unique Blink technology, shoots 36 percent quicker than any other type of semiauto shotgun. Its synthetic stock combines Beretta’s Kick-Off system with an ultra-soft Micro-Core butt-pad, to minimize recoil and is designed to recoil parallel to the cheek mount. The OptimaBore HP barrel’s finish offers superior resistance to the elements, including water, powder, sand and salt spray. The A400 Xtreme Plus features Beretta’s exclusive Steelium Plus barrel, providing the best patterning possible from all hunting loads, along with further felt recoil mitigation. The barrel also utilizes a step rib with an integral mid-bead and fiber optic front bead, and lengthened forcing cones. Its stock features a soft comb, which reduces the felt recoil imparted to the shooter’s cheek even further. The A400 Xtreme Plus also has an enlarged loading port, extended charging handle and bolt release, and Aqua Technology which is a protective coating to withstand the harshest elements.

1 year agoI love my A 400 , what I like best is I didn't have to add shim or do anything to make the gun fit me . When you mount the gun you are right on target .

1 year agoI received the shotgun and took it apart. Looked down the barrel and it's real dirty. Also has black corrosion in it. I try cleaning it but there's two tinny black line in it right by where the gas chamber is welded. Not sure if it's two cut slotted holes or just corrosion but spent a good hour scrubbing with my barrel cleaning tools. Will call Beretta and find out if it's suppose to be like that or not. Other than that the shotgun looks fabulous. It caught my eyes when I first saw it. I can't

1 year agoLove it! After about 100 rounds I’m totally satisfied. It functions as advertised. Very little recoil and super easy on the cheek ( if that has ever been an issue for you). If only it could aim itself it be perfect!

1 year agoI bought one 8-9 years ago and love it , it's been hands down the most dependable gun at our club, rain, freezing temps, falling in the pond and completely submerged, it just kept on going. I walked in this morning and told the guy " I need to replace my A400 Extrema, he was puzzled, Why he asked? I said my grandson was finally big enough to hunt and I needed a new one for me!
