1 year agoI bought this pistol about 4 months ago because I have previously owned Kimbers and love the quality. I was a little nervous because the Raptor costs so much more than Kimber's similar size and gauge handguns. It has proved to be worth every dollar. The factory installed tritium night sights and and the upgraded grips on the handle and on the steel make for greater accuracy and it just feels great to shoot!

1 year agoI purchased this beautiful looking piece back in May 2022. Kimber is such a cheap-cheap company. Only one (1) magazine is included with this 1,300+ gun, so I purchased a bunch of quality mags to go with this gorgeous 1911. Tripp, Wilson, McCormick, and EBs. Didn’t matter which mag was used. It would jam right out of the box. In the beginning it was 3 FTF per mag. The slight would go out of battery on some and a good slap with my palm to the slide was needed to get it into battery. Before anyone down votes me, I’ve used a variety of 230gr 45s - WWB, Fiochi, Herters, S&B, and Federal. I got up to 450 rounds in 4 range trips and on the last trip it jams every other mag. What a completely piece-of-junk. It’s on its way back to Kimber to diagnose and fix. First and last Kimber ever.

1 year agoMy wife bought me this for my birthday. I’ve been looking at it for awhile, but couldn’t find one nearby. Very nice gun, beautiful, shoots good, and no jams at all thru the first 200 rds. My go to carry. The micro is a little better at concealment, but this is my new favorite.

1 year agoI've owned this firearm for 10 years and have shot thousands of rounds through it. It is beautiful like jewelry. My daily carry. It's still held its value I see. Because it's Kimber custom shop baby. Buy it only if you want the cream of the crop.
