Rock Island TAC Ultra FS 10mm 8 Round Pistol, Parkerized – 51914
The TAC Ultra FS introduces a full tactical rail and is built with 4140 Ordnance steel and refined with our carefully managed hand fitting process. It’s chambered in 10mm with a 5 inches button rifled barrel supported by a full length guide rod and full dust cover. It includes a low profile adjustable rear sight and high visibility fiber optic front sight and is also fitted with a skeletonized hammer and trigger with adjustable over travel stop. The TAC Ultra is finished with a tough parkerized matte coating and adds battle ready G10 tactical grips. Like all Rock Island 1911s, the Tac Ultra comes with a crisp factory 4 to 6 lb trigger to give you a great experience right out of the box.

1 year agoI was a bit nervous buying a RIA 1911. Some people swear by them, others will call them cheap junk. I've owned this firearm for about six months now, and I think it falls somewhere in between. Fit and finish is excellent. The frame to slide fit is very tight, which I like. 1 year agoSo far so good! The factory mag didn’t fit, it wouldn’t seat while the slide was closed and when the slide was racked if the mag was seated the slide can’t fully drop. Wilson combat mags fixed the problem immediately, gun flew through a mag of home defense hollow points and a mag of fmj with not a single problem

1 year agoI have shot this pistol many and numerous times both for pleasure and tactical use. Never a failure to chamber except for a aftermarket magazine, Sure though McCormick mags were better than that. The finish is really good Nice crisp trigger at 4.5 #s. Safety is very nice good "click" when engaged and released. At 75 ft it shoots quite well if I do my part. I love all the RIA I have."

1 year ago10 mm What a gun.Shooting Hornady critical duty.Very little recoil and a pleasure to shoot. I hate recoil and was first reluctant to get the 10 mm BUT it shoots better than my 9mm.

1 year agoFantastic pistol to shoot and home defense. I would not not want to carry though as it’s 2.5 lbs That being said the gun is a must have for home defense and hunting

1 year agoSome of the reviews on this weapon were bad. I haven't had any issues with it at all. Feels nice and tight. Fire's true and reliable. Pretty good weapon for the price.
