Browning X-Bolt Speed OVIX Camo Bolt Action Rifle – 6.8mm Western – 24in

It took over a year but I finally found my 6.8 western. So far this rifle is a tac driver with the cooper impact ammo, the recoil is much less than my 30-06 without a muzzle break. I can't wait to try the other types of ammo. You won't be disappointed in feel of the platform and the weight is perfect for hunting the rugged mountains on New Mexico.

Havent Shot It Yet Set Up With Scope Hope To Get Out Next Week And Sight In Have-X-Bolt 6.5 Creedmore Love It

I was impressed when I seen the ballistics on the 6.8. Planning going elk hunting out to Montana this November. So I picked this rifle up and put a Leupold vx5hd 3 to 15x44 scope on it. Bore sighted the rifle off the kitchen table at my neighbor's trash bin at 100 yards and then went to the range never adjusted the windage and only two clicks for elevation. I was putting holes and holes at 200 yards stretched out to 500 no problem ended up hitting 12-in plates at 900 yards with the first 20

I own the same rifle in 28 nosler (older version-different camo) . Love that one so much I replaced a weatherby vanguard in 7mm08 with with this x-bolt speed ovix in 7mm08. Only received it yesterday, so have not scoped it yet and gone to the range but expect great things.
