Winchester USA Ready .45 ACP 230 gr 50 Rounds Ammunition – RED45

Great price of a company I have come to trust great results with this ammo. I would recommend to any one.

The Winchester USA Ready 9mm (flat nose) shot so bad, it must have been a bad batch. I was shooting a Hi Point 995TS with a 1x Reflex sight at 25 yds from a bench with sand bags. On that day I compared the accuracy of the Winchester White box, Winchester NATO, and Federal red box. I have shot 1000's of rounds of those brands of ammo through this gun. Generally, I will put 8 of 10 shots in a 2 in. circle w/the other 2 rounds within a 3 in. circle. With the USA Ready, I put 1 round in the 3 in. target. The other 9 rounds were scattered around the target in about a 10 in circle. It was so bad I thought the rifle had malfunctioned. So I put 10 rounds of the regular Winchester down range. All were in the 3 in target. No problem with the rifle. Then I sent 10 more rounds of the USA Ready down range. Same bad results. About a week or so later I shot the remaining 30 rounds of USA Ready. Same scatter gun pattern. No consistency or accuracy. I have had excellent results with Winchester White box and Winchester NATO. I was very excited to see a Winchester 9mm flat nose. I'll try another box of USA Ready someday. I hope it was just a bad batch. Or maybe the flat nose just doesn't work well in a Hi Point.

This is a great round for daily carry or at the range. The ammunition shot very consistent and was not overly dirty like the white box

This ammo works, well and has a little more kick than the normal 230gr ball ammo. Was cleaner burning than some of the other ball ammo I used.

Good packaging for quick and easy access, loads up easy and fires clean. Consistent shooting bullet after bullet. What else would you want. It's what you would want in ammunition. Get you some!

The prices were ok for whats going on in the country, only wish more was in stock on a regular basis

This stuff is amazing every time I pull the trigger and makes a loud noise and then there’s a corresponding home in the target

I would write a good review, however there is no ammo ever to buy at my bass pro. They should at least put a more accurate assessment on there inventory.

They fed and ejected very well, but they shot high and left from my 1911 Colt 5" for the three of us that shot a couple of mags. The powder burn was much dirtier and smoky than usual. I wondered if they had to substitute the regular powder, cleaning after was much more than compared to normal since I shoot Winchester most of all. The white box FMJ round nose shot dead center during that same week and a few days later too. I might skip these for awhile and just look for the white box or the Federal that I like. Good Luck

Good ammo, had a few hiccups in my 1911. But can’t say whether it was the firearm or the ammo. But aside from the hiccups it’s good flat shooting ammunition.
