Aguila 6.5 Creedmoor 140gr Full Metal Jacket Boat-Tail Rifle Ammo – 20 Rounds

Aguila really failed on this round. The rounds have inconsistent size length, causing issues from feed to accuracy. If the bullet is too long, it wont feed correctly, and if the bullet does chamber, it's already deformed, causing bad accuracy. I also bought Winchester Whitetail in 6.5CM and it chambers flawlessly, because it's a shorter round. This ammo would be fine it was cheaper than hunting rounds. This ammo would work perfectly for a gun that doesn't use magazines.

If you have a quality rifle, I don’t recommend this ammo. If you’re only looking to get “on paper” and don’t care about accuracy and precision, then this may be the ammo for you. If you want to practice precision or compete, definitely look elsewhere. I’ve put quality ammo through, then this, then quality again and this ammo’s performance stood out like a sore thumb. No wonder it’s on sale. Maybe at $15 it wouldn’t be bad plinking ammo but definitely not what I was looking for.

Absolute trash. 12-inch group at 100yds. Same rifle, within the same 5min timespan, before and after, same position, with better ammo shot a two-inch group. Suitable for magdumping into a washing machine at 50yds.

I bought these because they were on sale for $21.99/box back in October. I can't get them to group well at all. Two of my rifles don't like this stuff. I included a picture that shows 5 shots of Sellier & Bellot 140 grain and 3 shots of Aguila 140 grain. The Aguila is not anywhere close and they look like they keyholed the paper. Not a fan.

Worst ammo ever for 6.5 creedmoor. Round doesn't know which way it wants to go. Will never purchase again. Spend a little more money and get way better grouping

This Ammo will not chamber in my rifle. After a lot of head scratching I determined the neck is approximately .001 inch oversize. So now I have to pull all the bullets and neck turn the brass to get it into SAAMI spec. Glad I only bought 2 boxes. The low price doesn't look so good anymore either.

Bought 160 rounds when I had a gift card and it was on sale. Took 40 rounds out to the range, and out of the 30 I fired, 4 were misfires. That is terrible, especially when you consider the cost per round. Only bought Aguila because it was available during the ammo scare, not because it was good. Never had issues with Aguila .22lr, but I won't be buying their 6.5CM anymore after I burn through them all. Used a Sig Sauer Cross in 6.5CM. Ammo is inconsistent, can pull 1.5 moa, but some rounds go as wide as 3moa. Shooting with bags out to 100 yards and 200 yards.

Put this ammo through a Ruger American Predator Rifle suppressed. It was all over the place. I understand that this ammo isn’t sub moa and I’m not a perfect shooter, but I took Hornandy Match and Norma Hepburn after and got much better groupings. If you are looking for something to just shoot for cheap this is great. If you are looking for something that will put you in better grouping at longer distances… would definitely go for different ammo.

Bought this stuff on sale just before Christmas. It was a decent price. If your goal is to have a cartridge go bang when it should and hit in the general vicinity where aimed, this has you covered. If your goal is decent accuracy....look elsewhere. I used it for barrel break in. Had greater than 1 foot groups at 100 yards. Switched to Hornady 143 grain eldx..groups were just over 1 inch. The guy next to me at the range, coincidentally, had this ammo, too. Completely different set up....same results.

Bought 200 rounds because it was so cheap and wanted to just get some rounds out of my new Savage 110 Precision. I didn’t expect much given the reviews, but of course it was worse. Could kind of group at 100yards. I had one which was 3inches, but the rest might have been at best 5inches. At 2 and 300yards your just going for hits on the paper. It was grouping around 2ft. Would be fine for steel maybe. Or getting someone use to shooting. Not as much of a deal as you’d think.

It’s better than sticks and rocks. This ammo is pretty rough, I would not recommend this ammo. But it’s still better than nothing

I bought 6 boxes on sale. For my first box of 20 I have 3 rounds where the primer failed to ignite despite having clear dents from the firing pin. I suppose they were cheap and these are just for the range, but I have never had that issue with other brands.

I have tried quite a few different 6.5 Creedmoor rounds in my Savage Axis rifle. This Aguila ammo is by far the least accurate. Its only virtue is cost.

You guys must have got the good boxes. I had three failure to fires one box. I don't know if I'll be buying this ammo anymore.

First of all, great price. Second of all, you get what you pay for. I bought this due to the fact it was cheap. Less than buying unloaded brass. Found quality to be akin to a bunch of 5.56 military ball that I have purchased. Right up to cheap projectiles and crimped primer pockets. After firing will need to ream primer pockets to reload. Brass seemed to clean up nicely after the usual prep steps. Shoots about 1.25 moa in a rifle that normally gets 0.75 routinely with quality ammo.

The ammo looks like it might have been reloads, however it works just fine it is accurate as #* ll thanks will do this again.

More affordable than a lot of ammo. I do not have the expertise to say how it shoots over other brands, seems to stay on target.

I ordered 80 rounds but have only shot 20 of them. All rounds fired great. No misfires. No jams. No problems

All 20 rounds went boom. To provide a little extra context, my rifle is a Ruger American Predator. Accuracy was great. My gun range has a 200 yard plate that I reliably hit after sighting in. I had concerns given a few other reviews on Sportsman’s however I can now buy with confidence. Excellent value.

Rounds went bang, result was ding out to 300 yds with savage 110 switchback. Good bang for the buck. Got more, will post another review after running some through my bench gun.
