This Hornady .9mm Luger Magnum ammunition is loaded with a 147 grain XTP bullet. The XTP is a high-quality hollow-point projectile designed for optimal performance in hunting, self-defense, law enforcement and competition shooting applications. It demonstrates extreme accuracy and enhanced stopping power by initiating controlled and balanced expansion even at low velocities, presenting an advantage over plated bullets. Each XTP Bullet has a swagged core and drawn copper jacket to ensure uniform expansion and in-flight stability. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Have bouGht a couple times now. Optimal grain for the grendel, shoots great, fair price. I also think the HP makes for a better home defense option. Just wish they offered bIgger quantities.

Hornady xtp & FTX are one of my "go to" rounds for all of my home defense firearms! While I am also known to use federal hydra-shok... you won't go wrong with Hornady Critical Defense or Critical Duty ammo !!

Hornady ammo is the best for my guns. I'm have never had a bad 9mm from Hornady. Not any 55.6/ 223. Tells me they make precision ammo!

Bought these the other day, just LOVE THEM. There powerful and a very trustworthy round. I haven't had any misfires with these and they cycle fine thru my 9mm.

Good, but not perfect. Hornady Critical Defense is preferable to these. But right now beggars can’t be choosers.

Hornady makes great ammo, some of the best. I haven't actually fired this ammo yet, (I hope I don't have to, it's not range ammo) but I've never had an issue with this Manufacturer. The best part is that it was available to purchase lol.

Was trying to determine between a 115 vs 147gr for our home defense ammo. With our 9mm Shield EZ the recoil difference was unnoticeable but the 147grains grouping was very tight without any feeding issues.

Hornady & Buffalo Bore are the only 2 JHP/SD rounds I have ever used. However, recently I was turned on to a supplier of R.I.P. rounds. It may sound funny but their no joke. It stands for Radically Invasive Projectile. I have the 9mm +P but they run them in batches so the wait depends on what rounds you need. The very best that can be said about this round is it enters your target and stops!! I practiced the first 9 rounds thru my M&P sub-compact shield hitting 5 gal. buckets of water from 25
