2 years agoI've been running this ammo side-by-side with factory reloads and Blazer 9mm. It is noticeably weaker with the amount of recoil that is felt through my pistols. This was also confirmed with little amount of muzzle flash seen with this ammo at dusk when compared to other brands. I've had issues in otherwise reliable pistols such as my CZ-P10C and my MP5. My Sig P226 seems to run it ok but with noticeably weaker recoil. I would not recommend this brand of ammo when others such as Aguila, Blazer, R... Read more

If its not, I would buy the Winchester instead mainly for the cleaner burning powder and... Read more

2 years agoThere may be a round or two that are off target but overall very good performance for the price. And yes, they can be reloaded.

2 years agoGood velocity; no malfunctions in Colt Competition; clean brass; good alternative to Federal American Eagle and WW "Brown Box" (mil-spec). I gave it Five Stars for what it is - 45ACP for range and practice. Recommend WW Ranger, Speer Gold Dot, and Federal HST for self defense.

2 years agoGreat price, quick ship and proper packaging from Brownells. Always a good experience shopping Brownells.

2 years agoIn my Glock 21 I made consistent head and center of mass shots I shot over 150 rounds and I was quite impressed. at max range distance I was tearing up the corners, center mass etc.

1 year agoI use this ammo for range work, to loosen up new pistols, and to have on hand. It's never been a disappointment either. Would I use it for self defense, of course and why not? My 1911's are built around ball ammo, no need to get fancy. Do I have HP's, of course. You need some reliable 45 rounds? Look no further.

1 year agoPurchased 13 boxes of Magtech 45 ACP at a great price, Magtech ammo is ammo you can rely on for quality. UPS damaged the shipping box and only 11 boxes arrived. Informed Grab A Gun and they shipped out the 2 missing boxes. Great customer service, that is why I continue to do business with Grab A Gun. Thanks Grab A Gun for your continued quality service.

1 year agoUsed several boxes with no issues what so ever. Relatively clean burning. Very compatible to higher priced ammo in appearance and quality. Great range ammo.
JIM
1 year agoconsistent performance round after round and cost effective enough to allow longer range time and practice. yes I recommend to get them as cheap as you can

1 year agoMagtech 45 acp ammo is clean burning and functions great in my semi-auto handguns with no hiccups & is a good price per 50 rounds and gives excellent 50' 1.5" groups in my Kimber & Auto-Ordiance 45 acp handguns with factory standard sights.

1 year agoI bought it to break in a 1911 because it's cheap. I went through 100 rounds and had no FTFs or misfires.

1 year agoExcellent range ammo. fmj ball ammunition that has no feeding or ejection issues. It's relatively clean firing. I purchased 400 rounds for $108, or $.27 cents a round. My local gun show has .45acp reloads for $.25 per cartridge. I'd rather spend the extra 2 cents per round for new magtech ammo.

1 year agoHigh quality range target practice I'm sure it's a good all-around but I just use it for target practice

1 year agoShoots good with no problems. Only drawback is that it is a dirty ammo. Leaves more powder residue than other brands.
Dan D.
1 year agoThis is decent ammo for practice. The brass was a little more discolored than what I notice normally and I had a little concern, but the ammo shot fine. The price was good so that made it a good deal. I will use the Magtech 45ACP again if I have the opportunity.
