1 year agoI own a Chiappa m1-9, the 147 grain rounds feed flawlessly in this blow back action rifle. The 147's fire around 1000 fps and perform well even at 100 yards. I'm going to pickup a box of 124 grain shells for my next box and see how they feed.

1 year agoOver 2000 round through my 9mm IWI Baby Eagle and not a single round has failed. Here in Canada, Federal is one of the most economical brands, and today, the only 147 grain 9mm ammo I can find. I think I will order another 2000 rounds.

1 year agoI wish it was a little cheaper. It's really hard to justify it's high price. Otherwise it is flawless ammo for my 1911.

1 year agoNever had an issue with this ammo when training with it. Always goes boom and is very reliable. It is also very accurate.

1 year agoI loaded all 10 of my clips and went to the range and I had me some FUN. My Glock 21 just loved this stuff. I blew out the center of mass area of my target. So I started on the corners and finished with several head shots. They make you pay if you damage the equipment but my confidence was sky high. It was a good day. I could barely wait to show my target to my wife and she said "Looks like you shooting all over the place." I swallowed my pride, folded my target and asked How was your day honey? (After 30 years of marriage I know when to shut up). THIS IS SOME VERY GOOD RANGE AMMO.

1 year agoI have found that Federal loads the best! No jams, ever! Don’t waste your money buying other brands! If your gun jams u are not using Federal ammo!

1 year agoGood ammo, I shoot them with my Xd mod 2 and didn’t have any issue. I’ll buy next time again for sure.

1 year agoGood price but can't find it in Fort Wayne, IN store. I wish they were better with their stock. Sincerely,

1 year agoI have carried a 1911 for almost ten years and have shot a lot of different ammo and this stuff has been the most accurate and reliable for me. It is the closest in ballistics I can find to the Hydra Shok I carry making for great practice. Love this stuff.

1 year agoFederal makes the best ammunition hands down, sometimes it can seem a bit pricey if you buy directly from them but I love it. I can’t remember if it Fiocchi or Sellier that made 147 gr 9mm but federal is the only ones who seem to make it available. I bought some from federal directly and it was an extra 5$ per box of 50 which really adds up so I’d recommend getting from sportsman’s warehouse if you can.

1 year agoThis has been Outstanding ammo for my Glock 21 & 30. It groups well and has a lot more punch (890 fps vs 830 fps) than most other .45 acp ammo. Never had any problems in the 4 or 5 boxes I have shot. I will be glad when it is back in stock and on sale again...

1 year agoI have bought plenty of this ammo and thought it shot pretty well in my Glocks. I was very Surprised to say the least that it only Chrono'd between 795 & 818 FPS. I shot three different lots and they all were in this range. Not what I was expecting at all. I guess what can you expect for $12.99 a box on sale...

1 year agoI've run thousands of rounds of this through my 1911s. The muzzle velocity the previous reviewer brought up really doesn't matter to me. I shoot at paper at 7 10 and 15 yards. Thousands of rounds zero malfunctions. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

1 year agoI've put several thousand rounds of this stuff downrange and have come to love this ammo. It is my preferred range load. It's accurate in all my 45's cleaner than WWB and has never caused an issue. Brass cased large primer American made. What's not to love?
Jeff
1 year agoI've bought thousands of rounds of this stuff and never an issue. Dirtier than some cleaner than others but at the end of the day reliable in all of my 1911s. For a while now PSA has had consistently good prices on it so I'll continue to buy it and shoot it.

1 year agoJust as promised. I miss the days of plentiful, affordable ammo, of course, but am glad at least some suppliers can provide ammunition at less than a gouging price.
