1 year agoI've put about 200 rounds through this and have been happy with the way it handles. I'm not AR savvy enough to get specific about the features. I bought this due to the brand reputation, weight, and length and have not been disappointed. I was let down by the lack of owners manual. The 20 year old army field manual is poorly illustrated, bound in a way that makes using it difficult, and just shows laziness on the part of bcm for not writing something better. 1 year agoThis rifle fit my needs. I have zero reservations about this rifle protecting me if needed. The only nit-picky thing I had was the massive dousing of oil that was used during storage/shipping of the rifle. But I get it, BCM has no idea what conditions/length of time that rifle will sit boxed up somewhere. Cleaning up the rifle for first use took some time, but it was well worth it in the end.

1 year agoHad been looking for a home defense AR pistol. Went with the BCM 11.5 due to BCM’s reputation for quality. I was not disappointed. Added SBA3 brace, Streamlight ProTec rail light, Holosun 510c Elite Green Dot with shake/awake feature, and Vortex 3x flip up magnifier, BCM rail covers, and Strike Industries Foregrip. Grabagun had the best price and shipped very quickly.
