Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22 LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want ’em. The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. There are also other grip materials available, plus finish options include the attractive and durable Smooth Silver Satin. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken. Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

1 year agoI had a revolver years ago, traded it in for a new 9MM. I liked the revolver, so I decided to buy this one. Great gun.

1 year agoA great way to get on the range and not burn a hooe in your wallet. I chose the 9” model because i see EVERYONE else with either the 6” or really shOrt models. This jUst has that cool factor to it imo. Easy to use, lots of fun, good weight and build QUALITY for the price.

1 year agoThe gun shoots nice with 22 Mags but the front sight seems to be bent to the right. I will call the company to see what I should do about it. out side of that it's a great gun. When the 9 inch becomes available I will order another one, this time with adjustable sights.

1 year agoThese guns are great little plinkers and fun to customize. This is my 3rd one in different barrel lengths. When I took this one out of the box the grips were loose. Went to tighten them and the nut in the grip just spun and it would not come off. I ended up having to drill and saw it off. Fortunately I had extra grips off of one of the other ones.

1 year agoit was pretty accurate compared to another RR that I had used in the past. what I did not realize was that it actually is in black and not blue as I had ordered.

1 year agoThe 9 inch barrel makes this stand out from the crowd. Accurate and dependable. There is something nostalgic about the old single action colt design which appeals to me. I've bought several lengths of Heritage from the short "Barkeep" to the 16" buntline and I love them all.

1 year agoI really can not speak about the Heritage Mfg. Rough Rider 9 inch adjustable site revolver since I just bought it. What I can say is that I own the Heritage Mfg. Rough Rider 6 inch adjustable site revolver and it is the reason I bought the 9 inch version of the exact same gun. I have fired the 6 inch version just over 200 rounds and I like it well...Read More Read more about review stating Not exactly the review you ask for but I did the best I could.

1 year agoFinish could be a little better but no complaints.Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Accuracy is better than I expected. Getting 2.5 inch groups @ 15 yrds.

1 year agoFor the price this is a great little revolver. Not going to be the best when it comes to finish or quality, but for some target practice it’s hard to have more fun with a firearm for the price than a rough rider.
