Beretta Bobcat Covert Comparable in size to a smartphone and weighing only 11.5 oz, the ultra-concealable Bobcat has been the ultimate pocket pistol for over three decades. With the addition of a factory-installed 1/2x28TPI threaded barrel, the new Bobcat Covert model takes ultra-compact to a new level with ultra-quiet capability. It is user-friendly, durable, reliable, and accurate, while with its snag-free lines is can be tucked in any kind of holster or pocket for deep concealment.
Available in .22 LR, it is perfect for concealed carry (on its own or as a backup pistol), and it keeps besting all pistols in its class for quality, value, and design. Practical, Safe, and Reliable User-friendly design is common to all Beretta small frames. The exclusive tip-up barrel allows the user to easily load a round directly into the chamber without racking the slide. It also assists in the safe clearing of the pistol by giving an easy and absolutely safe way to check the bore and remove a live cartridge.
Jamming and stove-piping problems are virtually eliminated by the open slide design shared by all small frame Berettas. Advanced Materials Keeping an eye on uncompromising quality helps keep Beretta small-caliber semi-automatics ahead of the pack. Beretta pistols in the 21 Series utilize a tough forging process for their barrels, while slides are fashioned from solid steel bar stock–and frames from solid aluminum forgings. Covert Finish In addition to the traditional Black and Inox finish, the 21A Bobcat is now available in Covert configuration. This model has a blued steel slide and barrel. The alloy frame is black anodized to match the color and finish of the upper components. The other metal parts (trigger, hammer, trigger guard, safety, magazine, etc.) are black finished, while we top off the dark aesthetic with a set of dark Walnut grips.

2 years agothis is a cool little piece. I went to The range with it day 1 and its an ABSOLUTE blast. Its a good piece to keep in your pocket when you are fishing incase you get a cotton mouth on your line (what i use it for) and its fun to plink with

1 year agoWas really excited for this Bobcat and was disappointed. After the 5 round out of this brand new pistol it failed on me. The firing pin retaining pin broke which made the pistol useless. This caused the firing pin and the firing pin spring to fall out but luckily I didn’t lose them. It was an easy fix but the fact that it happened on the 5th shot was a disappointment. I could have sent it back to Beretta as I’m sure they would have fixed it for free but the trouble of having to call customer

1 year agoI've only had one opportunity to shoot the pistol so far, but very impressed with the accuracy of such a small (and good looking) pistol. The action is very stiff and has only eased slightly after well over 100 rounds. Still hard to pull the slide back. Also the grip on one side loosens. All in all, fun, but not a great pistol.

1 year agoBeautiful walnut grips but not milled to spec. Allowed trigger bar to move away from the frame and prevented double action function. A call to Beretta and new grips are on the way. This little pocket pistol is choosey about the type of ammo that cycles best. CCI Standard and CCI Mini Mag worked best. Still occasional stovepipes and failures to feed. Fun little pistol but questionable reliability.

1 year agoVery nice appearance and is a blast to shoot. Mine had a trigger issue that required grip removal and playing with the trigger bar to fix.

1 year agoNice tiny 22 pistol. Have had some issues with grip screws loosening and some feeding issues suppressed. Very likely all issues are from high velocity rounds combined with the suppressors increased back pressure. Overall this is extremely well built. This is a high quality firearm.

1 year agoLove this pistol and carry it occasionally. More pros than cons but a few issues. Only one magazine supplied? C’mon Beretta! Safety is really stiff. I won’t carry it with the safety on. Hopefully it’ll loosen up. Sights aren’t very helpful, I get it. It’s a pocket pistol, but I’d like to have better ones. I love the threaded barrel, when my AR can comes, I’m gonna rock it on the Bobcat.

1 year agoThis little handgun is a work of beauty, the walnut grips make it stand out! It fits our hands like a glove, I thought it would be a little bulky but it’s not. I like the zipper pouch it comes with. I got this for plinking for my daughter and me. Haven’t fired it yet so I can’t speak about reliability but the videos I have watch I don’t have any concerns. The only negative comments I could give would be it only came with 1 magazine, so I ordered 4 more from Beretta and received them in 3 days with free shipping. Don’t hesitate...

1 year agoexcellent pistol. Functions perfectly with and without a suppressor, sub-sonic rounds and hi velocity rounds. Only gripe is only one magazine, and it's hard to find spares.

1 year agoPistol was very tight when it was first shot. Expect to manually cycle the spent brass until the parts work themselves loose. After 100 rounds of standard .22 LR, things cycled fine. The 21A Covert model came with nice wood grips which added some thickness over the standard plastic ones. Threaded barrel was very nice, and a Sparrow suppressor made the muzzle blast whisper quiet. The Bobcat 21A is a fun, concealable pocket pistol if you’re into that style of handgun. The one chambered in .25 ACP offers centerfire reliability, but I don’t think it comes threaded.

1 year agoThis Beretta Bob cat is the smallest gun in my collection. I took it to the range along its big brother the 92x, both Beretta's out performed my expectations The Bob cat out of the box was very tight , I oiled and worked the slide and safety before firing.

1 year agoSweet little pistol. More accurate then I thought it would be for a pocket gun. Beretta quality all the way.

1 year agoTrigger is pretty stiff, slide is stiff, and the safety is stiffer than it should be on this Beretta (but not my other bobcat).. that being said, fit and finish is awesome. Fits the hand great, haven’t had any feed issues, love these fun little guns.

1 year agoThe .22 lr bobcat from Beretta is a great suppressor host. Small in size but the grip is large enough for a good hold. Mine has been accurate and reliable with cheap bulk ammo.

1 year agoExcellent little pistol!!! Smooth operation and functional with most ammunition, but quality ammunition is better for this one!!! Pop open barrel is super intuitive!!!

1 year agoThe compact Beretta Bobcat Covert Model 21A has not yet been fired. Component and fit seem precise. Everything is a bit tight, but I'm counting on a hundred to 200 rounds to shave off the factory overage and make it ready for anhydrous graphite lube.

1 year agoUsed this for actual self-defense in Florida. The previous version of it, about twenty-five years ago. Saved my life. Got sucked into the black hole of my divorce, never located it again. Buying this newer model as soon as I can find one in stock somewhere. Highly recommend it for concealed carry, use CCI Stingers in it, it will stop anyone from continuing an attack. The pop-up barrel allows you to unload it and leave a magazine in it and you KNOW it is unloaded. More than 10 yards away, forget

1 year agoHave only put a box of ammo through it. It has worked flawlessly thus far. Looks good with the wooden grips.

1 year agoCycles 60 grain, 950 fps, 120 fpe like a 32. Fits my hand perfectly, feels substantial and solid. The grips and Bruniton finish are works of art. The engineering is exquisite.

1 year agoExtremely fun & challenging to shoot. It's unreliable though, so don't plan on getting this as a pocket carry. Attach a suppressor for the ultimate James Bond gun.
