For those target shooters who seek out the best triggers possible, this variant of the Shadow 2 has a single-action-only trigger. While not legal for Production Division like the standard version, the lighter, crisper SA trigger gives the target-shooting enthusiast the ability to punch paper with precision. Outwardly nearly identical to the standard Shadow 2, the SA requires the hammer to be cocked in order for it to fire. Finished in black and with a set of blue aluminum grips and matching blue SA trigger, it’s a striking pistol that’s a joy to shoot. The Shadow 2’s swappable mag release has an adjustable, extended button with three settings to allow shooters to set it in the spot most comfortable for them. A nitride finish coats the entire pistol, while the frame gets a layer of our hardy black polycoat. Thin aluminum grips have healthy checkering to match the fine front and backstrap checkering of the pistol itself. Sitting atop the slide are a set of target sights – fiber optic on front and a serrated, black HAJO rear (click adjustable for elevation, drift adjustable for windage).
Designed specifically for target shooters in pursuit of the ultimate trigger experience, this variant of the Shadow 2 comes equipped with a single-action-only trigger. While not permissible for the Production Division like its standard counterpart, this SA-triggered model offers a lighter and crisper pull, empowering shooting enthusiasts to achieve unparalleled precision on paper targets. Its external appearance closely mirrors that of the standard Shadow 2, but with the SA variant, the hammer must be manually cocked to initiate firing. The pistol showcases a captivating black finish complemented by stylish blue aluminum grips and a matching blue SA trigger, creating a visually striking firearm that brings joy to every shot.
The Shadow 2 SA retains the original model’s swappable mag release, which features an adjustable and extended button with three settings, enabling shooters to position it precisely where they find it most comfortable. A durable nitride finish coats the entire pistol, while the frame receives a protective layer of our resilient black polycoat. The slim aluminum grips boast robust checkering, matching the exquisite checkering found on the front and backstrap of the pistol itself. Atop the slide, a pair of target sights are positioned, featuring a fiber optic front sight and a serrated, black HAJO rear sight that allows for click adjustments for elevation and drift adjustments for windage.

2 years agoI just purchased this pistol about a week ago and I love it. I’ve shot about 50 rounds through her with no issues. It’s a little on heavy side but gun is great

2 years agoI'll start with saying this was my first steel frame hammer gun and it is amazing to shoot out of the box. The single action only makes the trigger feel great, recoil is low because this thing has some weight to it. Definitely reccomend this pistol to anyone that wants a quality piece. All it needs now is an optic cut and it's good to go.

1 year agoGreat gun. Way more accurate than I'll ever be. It was super easy ordering off Palmetto State Armory. Will be ordering off their website again.

1 year agoFit and finish is superb. The rear grip checkering has a sharp angle that is somewhat uncomfortable though. And the gun was shooting pretty far right out of the box, and for this price id expect it to be sighted in.

1 year agoThis is by far the best gun I own. The trigger is what dreams are made of… the grip in your hand is like nothing else and then the best part you shoot it. Double taps do not come any easier or faster. Yea it’s heavy but in a good way.. if your on the fence about buying this gun your crazy not too the price right now they are giving it away.

1 year agoThe only regret is I wish I'd bought a DA/SA model. Top to bottom on the attached picture 15 round groups at 5 yards, 7 yards and 10 yards.

1 year agoThe CZ Shadow 2 SA is an outstanding firearm. Great look. Accurate and reliable. Outstanding price on this fine firearm at PSA. CZ knows how to build one.

1 year agoGot on sale for $1k, insanely good value. Fantastic, crisp trigger with a bit of a long reset. Maybe a 3lb pull, deadly accurate and easy to shoot. A much better shooter than my Staccato C2, even. If you can catch it on discount like I did, it's an absolute steal. Some rumblings this may have been discontinued, and it's no longer on CZ's website. 3 minor gripes: 1. The blue trigger finish is an odd choice that sticks out with aftermarket grips. Luckily it does match the stock grips

1 year agoThis Shadow 2 will show you what you are capable of at the range. The trigger is fantastic, and the recoil is minimal. If you ever thought about a 1911, consider this instead.

1 year agoBest pistol I own, more accurate than I am! Great deal from Palmetto State Armory! Highly recommended.

1 year agoCZ Rules!!! I have shot plenty of more expensive guns and I can't shoot any of them as well as the CZ. It's one of the flattest shooting guns that exist and is so easy to be consistently accurate with. If anyone hasn't shot a CZ, they are cheating themselves.

1 year agoThe service is as great!! The pistol is one of the funnest pistols I’ve shot and extremely accurate. Two failure to feed last round two separate mags third mag no problems. So probably mag issue

1 year agoProbably one of the best pistols I've ever owned. The reset is so short that it's easy to unintentionally doubletap. Extremely accurate.

1 year agoThe closest comparison I can make to this gun is a heavy barreled 5.5 inch Model 41 Smith and Wesson. The CZ S2 SA and the Model 41 are the same weight, they feel somewhat similar in the hand, they both have great iron sights. The trigger on the 41 is a little crisper. The trigger on my CZ has just a tiny bit of movement IF you really squeeze extra slow. Having said that, usually, once the sear starts sliding across the hammer notch, it keeps going, giving the sensation of a clean trigger. Mine

1 year agoThis is a beast of a 9MM and there is nothing about it I don't like. The trigger is great, accurate out of the box and an impressive looking firearm. One of the if not the best shooting handgun I own.

1 year agoSuper smooth, flat shooting and reliable. I haven't had a malfunction yet. The trigger pull is super crisp and breaks well. I would definitely recommend this to someone.
