1 year agoI love this firearm! I was looking for a 44 Magnum to carry as backup in bear/cougar country that wouldn't break the bank and this is it! Handles great even using heavy loads. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars on quality was because of a small rust spot on the trigger. I will be buying from GrabAGun again.

1 year agoBeAutiful firearm. Super accurate out of the box. Fit and finish is first rate. 150 rounds later and the only hiccup has to do with the cylinder pin. It has 2 notches. The first allowing for normal operation, the 2nd activates an internal block safety that prevents it from firing. No where in the literature/manual is the position of the notches covered. I found the placement information in an online forum. This gun is made by pietta. I have a cattleman 45lc by Beretta, made by Umberti, that one … Read More

1 year agoThe gun seemed well made but when I took it to the range it had problems, After shooting about 12 rounds it started jamming up and the cylinder wouldn’t turn unless messed with it. After that it miss fired several times. I had to unload it and it would fire. There were two strike marks on the rounds. One was off center. I returned it to the store and it is being shipped back for repair.

1 year agoI really enjoy shooting this pistol. Cimarron has done some excellent work on the action and trigger. As with any SAA clone, the fixed sights may or may not be accurately placed on the pistol. Mine shoot left about 5" at 7 yards. Which is the reason for the non-5 star rating. Other than the sights, I really haven't found any issues with mine.......yet. I have owned mine for 2.5 years.

1 year agoThe fit is great and finish is beautiful out of the box. Other reviews stated that this is a “3 click” hammer pull but mine has 4 (like a colt). It feels heavy for a 4.75” so perhaps it has more barrel material being bored in .357 rather than .45lc? Mechanically everything feels timed and tight. The trigger pull is a tad heavy for a SA, but it is crisp and not yet broken in. This model is originally produced by Pietta and does not have a transfer bar or internal hammer safety gadget. It feels like a piece of history. I would give it 5 stars, but I haven’t live fired yet!

1 year agoExcellent job Cimarron. I love shooting this single action. My only wish is that the handle came down just a hair more for my large hands. The build quality is excellent. It really delivers the goods with either .357 or .38 cartridges. I would recommend.

1 year agoVery good reproduction of the original Colt SAA. Mine is chambered for 357 magnum and is a delight to shoot. Great value in comparison to other handguns. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a quality single action.

1 year agoExcellent replica of 1873 Colt. Mine is chambered in .357 and has a very smooth trigger pull. Nice that I can shoot .38 and .357 with this revolver. Great firearm for the price.

1 year agoI've owned 5 Cimarron revolvers now. This is the first one that didn't shoot spot on. I called Cimarron and told them about it. They told me that the standard is a 3 inch group at 15 yards which I didn't know. I was getting about that, but about 5 or 6 inches low. Had a lighter main spring put in and a trigger adjustment and switched to different ammo. The problem went away! I'm pretty sure the nut behind the trigger came loose again... I would HIGHLY recommend any of the Cimarron revolvers. I like the ones made by Pietta the best. They all have 4 clicks.
