1 year agoI bought my kimber ultra carry ll from cabelas at 799.99 then found it for 719.99 at a rival store but thier policy is all sales are final with no return on non fired firearms I haven’t tried the price match and they only give veterans and military 5% off and every where eles is 10-15%off your purchase, my complaint is the magazine or the extractor is causing the weapon to jam and the operation to eject three to four rounds before it chambers a round, this is brand new weapon that should have been discounted even further-because it was a display model that sold to for 799.99 and should been sold for 699.99 with the military discount to boot , the sales person Michael, who sold me the weapon failed to mention store policy about return on firearms sales and that all sales were final

1 year agoI purchased this pistol just a few weeks ago and I’m about finished with the 500 round break in period shooting 100 at a time and cleaning. This pistol is an excellent shooter and very accurate and controllable. I couldn’t be more pleased with the purchase. I don’t see how one could go wrong with this purchase. Get one you’ll see what I mean.

1 year agoJust took this out to the range for the second time since getting it last month. It functions flawlessly. I did not experience any of the problems others have reported about Kimbers being tight and needing 500 rounds or so to loosen up. Ball, hollow point, conical -- all fed without problems. The gun is well made and optimized for concealed carry. It is extremely accurate at 15 yards or less -- better than expected for a 3" barrel.

1 year agoPurchased the Ultra Carry II brand new. Out of the box the grip safety did not function. resulting in accidental discharge in a controlled environment-no injuries. Returned the weapon to the retailer for a full refund and purchased a Colt Officer's Model...with a working grip safety. Would not recommend Kimber to anyone. Safety failure indicates poor quality control. Would give zero stars

1 year agoIt has become my favorite 1911; for some reason I am more accurate with it that pistols with longer sight picture.

1 year agoFit and finish is great, trigger is crisp with no creep , short reset. As with most tight tolerance 1911s a break in is required.I speed this up by working the slide back and forth 1000 times ,this takes about 20 mins. i've run 200 rounds of Hornady +P 185gr JHP through it with zero failures. Accuracy is great 1.78" groups at 25 yds. off a shootin...Read More Read more about review stating excellent

1 year agoI live in Washington State. I've bought 5 guns through Guns.com from out of state in the past 7 months. This would include a high cap semiautomatic pistol, a semiautomatic M1A1, and a 10 gauge semiautomatic shotgun. Zero holdups, and zero delays. I'm inclined to think you might be the problem Fredrick, and not Washington.
