1 year agoIt was the only thing available before the Ruger SR22 and Ruger LCP II became available. Bought it and used it to teach my wife how to shot. During our first use of the gun, the back site flew off while firing, must of got knocked out when the slide racked back for another round. During our second time during the range, I screwed it back on as tightly as possible and still have the same issue. No matter how many times I screw it back on, the sites will always knock out on its own while firing,

1 year agoGreat Value and fun product. look and feel are top of the line. the only complain is the sight it came with. it is a plastic and the dot is not easy to aim. the rear sight is adjustable, but also make it loose and moving easily.

1 year agoBe careful with barrel screw when loosening, easily stripped. Replacement hard to find, you must call ATI for a replacement.

1 year agoIt seems like when one manually cocks the hammer without activating the slide, the gun will fire without depressing the grip safety. Not sure this is safe.

1 year agoMine came with the adjustable rear sight installed. After about two magazines it just fell apart so I replaced it with the fixed sight that was included. Good now.

1 year agoI now own 3 -1911 pistols and this is by far my favorite. Easy shooting, lightweight and accurate. After about 200 rounds of Winchester and Federal had less than 15 jams. I'm guessing a break in period. Great pistol for the price, around $350. California compliant.

1 year agoLove this gun. I use .22’s to build muscle memory for shooting my larger pistols. This one definitely has the feel and weight of my larger guns. The only down side is it’s a little more complicated to field strip than my other 1911’s. Other than that, very accurate and lots of fun.

1 year agoThis is the first handgun I have ever purchased. I have only ever really been into long guns, but I decided I wanted try out a handgun and when I was looking I didnt want a high caliber pistol so I decided on a 22. I looked at everything in the caliber the store had from semiautomatic to revolver and I settled on this one from reading reviews on it to how it felt n my hand. I purchased several more clips for it because one is just not enough. When I took it to the range, I was not disappointed

1 year agoI'll have to change my review after I actually fire the handgun, but since every dentist who lost their marriage during the shut down bought one, I'll wait until all of them leave the ranges before I go. However, as a handgun, it's got a wonderful weight to it. Larger than your expecting but smaller at the same time. The breakdown is different with a screw and extra few pieces to take out before taking it apart. I don't see how that can be a detriment, but we'll see.

1 year agoThis is fun to shoot. After sanding down over spray on the rails inside it works like a champ. Make sure you buy the High Velocity 22lr ok.

1 year agoI didn't end up buying it because each time I went into the store the line and wait was way to long. I've just been too busy to wait hours for my turn plus the time to do the paperwork. It's probably best to do it first thing in the morning next time.

1 year agoYes I know a 22 LR isn't an ideal everyday carry, but with Comiefornia getting worse by the day, 22s seem to be the caliber that no one cares what you do or have those dumb restrictions like centerfire cartridges. I have taken it many times to the range and fired already 2 boxes of 500 rounds thru it. man, it's made of that cheap metal but it's holding up better than many other pistols on the market at this price. Plus, it's still modular with a laser, better grips, and yes you can have your

1 year agoHighly recommended as a plinking pistol. Ran ~400 rounds through it after disassembly and cleaning, and had one stove pipe when a shooter limp wrist ed it, and a few failures to pickup from the magazine. Ate a variety of 22lr ammo, even some really questionable stuff that isn’t truly high velocity as the manual says is recommended. Good first impression. Also shoots well, and looks and feels good doing it. Good value, seems to me.

1 year agoGreat good looking gun. Changed the grip. New grip came with gold screws, but didn’t fit because gsg grip screw bushings are not standard 1911 size. They do sell bushings that fit though.

1 year agoGot it home took it apart and cleaned it up greased the slide rails. Put 200 rounds through it without a problem.
