The Ruger Mark IV Target Wood Grip .22LR Pistol was designed to fix a problem that has been frustrating shooters for decades. With it’s updated design the Mark IV now features a one-piece CNC machined grip frame that has a simple one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. The recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of any tools. The Mark IV has an internal cylindrical bolt construction that ensures permanent sight to barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy to grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. This gun also has an accurate sighting system that features an adjustable rear sight drilled and tapped receiver for weaver or Picatinny style rails.

2 years agoThis a great gun!! Workmanship is spot on as always with Ruger. Grips are very nice and bull barrel ads the weight which translates to zero recoil. Great action and take down is so easy. Cheap ammunition is the icing on the cake. Paid for this gun in 4 months on savings on shooting my .9 mil. Highly recommend

1 year agoGood, quality construction. It's a breeze to disassemble and clean. Shoots everything I feed it. Accurate. I would recommend.

1 year agoThis became my new 50 foot indoors bullseye comp pistol, but to be competitive plan on a trigger job, rail and premium optics. As great looking as the grips are they totally suck in my hand, no texture and to wide in the front. i have hockey stick tape wrapped around them until a certain company releases their rubber grips, which i was promised would happen this spring. ( still waiting V...............) If you don't mind building a race gun from this basic platform its worth considering or spend bigger bucks and get a ready built pistol.

1 year agoSmooth as butter on target. No recoil. Perfect fit for my hand. Looks way better than the pictures here. Heavier than I thought. Excellent bang for the buck.

1 year agoGREAT GUN, LOVE SHOOTING IT. oNLY THING i DONT LIKE IS THAT THE MAGS ARE A LITTLE TOUGH ON THE HANDS TO LOAD.

1 year agoExcellent gun. High quality. Mild recoil. These wood grips are really nice. Adjustable sights. I have not had that much fun at the range in a while, and with a 22lr on top of that. I am more than satisfied with my purchase.

1 year agoAfter searching for this gun for over 1 year, it was well worth the wait. The balance of the gun is incredible and feels perfect in my hand. Other people at the range want this gun and one person went home and bought it that day.

1 year agoGREAT .22 shooter ! Ruger could do our fingers a big favor .... remove SHARP edges on charging knob ! ! ! . Only way around it is file and refinish or buy a charging loop

1 year agoVery accurate, very fun. Was surprised at the weight, but haven't held one in 25 years (Mark II). Even a relative novice (me) can make very tight groups. Very light recoil, sights barely move between shots.

1 year agoOrder processing and shipping was quite fast, and the item arrived to my FFL dealer on time. Unfortunately my FFL dealer still has not processed the transfer, but that’s an issue on my end, not yours. Very pleased with Guns.com!

1 year agoI love this hand gun! It is very accurate even with just the original sights. I was hitting my 5 inch plinker at 15 yards easily. Lots of fun to shoot with!

1 year agoFreaking love this gun. Had been thinking about buying this for a while. Then price dropped $100 so had to get it. Looks and shoots great out of the box. You won’t be disappointed.

1 year agoI like this pistol yet for it being a 4th gen it still ought to have an ambidextrous mag release by now. With the first 50rds I had only a single stove pipe extraction fail. ???? I’m a bit disappointed with the front sight. The case ought to be either a cardboard box or a nice fitted case worthy of this legacy pistol not...Read More Read more about review stating Good but not great…yet.

1 year agoIf you want to have a great time hitting the target, this is the one! It’s just a joy to shoot and it’s got great heft. I have a full line of Ruger Mark IV firearms, this is my favorite for plinking.

1 year agogun is on the heavy side as expected, super accurate and fun to shoot. not a fan of the factory grips so I put a hogue grip on and it's way better. ran the cheapest ammo I had through it (aguila 38gr) and it jammed at least once per mag. I cleaned it and put some CCI and Winchester through it after with maybe 1 jam total.
