With 11 game-changing innovations, the RDB™ is the new definition of bullpup. Its downward shell ejection system eliminates the side ejection disadvantage of ordinary bullpups. The result is casings that eject out of your line of sight and a truly ambidextrous, high performance rifle. The RDB is also adjustable for a wide variety of ammunition. It’s definitely the bullpup done right.

So far this weapon is what I would expect from Kel-Tec as I have purchased four Kel-Tec guns previous to this one.

Being a lefty, most bullpup firearms eject the brass in my face. This one has a rather ingenious downward ejection which makes it truly ambi. adjustable gas for shooting suppressed... awesome. Works well. And speaking of shooting suppressed... being a lefty the gas blowback into my face on most AR's is just awful when shooting suppressed. This has NONE... its just awesome. cheap plastic handguard can be replaced with a m-lok (much more useful and comfortable. Trigger is … Read More

Great gun and lots of fun. Excellent balance, mobility, lightweight and minimal recoil. Have put about 400 rounds through this gun without a single issue. Highly recommend to any gun enthusiast.

I love my Kel Tec RDB. Right out of the box is shoot amazing. I after 100 shoot I add Holosun green reticle, put 100 shoot down range. Work powerful flawlessly. Great price

If you’re like me you have probably been interested in the RDB. Unfortunately for me my friends never got pirchased one so it was up to me. Overall I don’t regret it at all. Cons: it is different and therefore your weapon layout and manipulation will have to be changed to run this. It isn’t an AR so don’t expect it to be. Just like running an SBR there is a fair amount of gas in the vicinity of your face with the exception of none coming from the ejection port. Dis/ass is very different from … Read More

This is a smooth shooting, very short, accurate little rifle. It is a lot of fun! Pull the trigger today!

As a lefty I Love this gun. Great price. Make sure you get the gas settings right and you wont have issues. Also gen 3 pmags have to be pushed in hard to get them to seat right without the gun cocked. I use gen 2 now, no issues.

One of the most unique gunS in my collection. The RDB is an impressive, well thought out feat of INNOVATIVE engineering. The general lack of inventory of this weapon, as well aS Its steadily climbing price, confirm that it is here to stay. Just be patient...

The handguard and takedown pins were tight, trigger was excellent right out of the box! There was a slight bit of injection molding at the ejection port still left after manufacture but that was easy to grind off. The rifle feels balanced and the gas setting wasn't too hard to set, I haven't gotten a double feed or FTE yet (fingers crossed).

This an excellent carbine, straight out of the box. Trigger pull is moderate, the sear is very smooth when the shot breaks and the trigger reset is very palpable for quicker additional shots.

I think it’s a great firearm! It has fired flawlessly thus far! I think it could theoretically present a proBlem with a malfunction during live fire exercisE, but i keep a close eye on the bolt, and what it is doing during battery!

I got what I believe is a newer generation it was manufactured April 2019. Put 200 rounds of Winchester white box 556 brass case through it ran flawlessly, then for good measure ran another hundred rounds of wolf polycoat steel case through it again ran flawlessly. I like this weapon more than I thought I would it handles great shoulders and points extremely well and is super compact. The Recoil impulse is very AR-15 like without the buffer spring twang. Just a nice rearward push, quick

Owning two AR-15s, Colt and Noveske, I am very pleased with the RDB. It feels more balanced shooting and I love the compact size. The biggest drawback for me is getting used to the mag release which is positioned behind the thumb on the trigger hand. Like everything you just need to practice practice practice.

It's been a great shooter. I've run about 1,000 rounds through it. The only real problem is with the bullpup design. It ejects the casings under your arm. The problem comes in if you are shooting while lying down. I've gotten a few burns from this. I suggest wearing long sleeves if you are going to shoot while laying down.

Fantastic gun so far. The first time to the range today went very well. The groupings were not great, but adequate for not having a stand or bipod. The feel of recoil is much different and the down ejection too, they will take getting used to but the difference is not unpleasant. Getting the flash hider off was a pain, but I got it eventually after applying a heat gun.

I've had an RDB for a couple of years now I'll give a couple of tips that I've discovered. 1. Go to Lucky Irishman and get the bolt release kit. Easy to install. You won't regret it. 2. If you are having cycling issues it's probably undergassed. Screw in gas adjustment all the way in (clockwise). This is the fully gassed possition. Then count clicks out while shooting a single round loaded in the mag. Hint: My gun reached failure to eject at 11 clicks of possible 23. I set mine at 9

I got the 20" version, my first Keltec. 3000rnds through it now with only 1 failure to eject in the beginning, before I adjusted the gas system. Extremely handy weapon but much heavier than my AR. Not a sniper rifle but can always hit center mass. The side charger is great and never have to use the odd positioned bolt release on the stock. Mag release (bump with back of firing hand) is outstanding for me. If you just want something different, this gun is fun.
